I was hoping the food was as good as the view and was happy to find out it was! I’ve been to many fine dining restaurants all over the US and this was up there with the better ones I’ve been to. The main courses really shined, the lamb and black cod were cooked perfectly and the accompanying additions were clever and enhancing. It’s expensive but on par with many fine dining places that have regular urban real estate. Would definitely return when I’m back in the area. Service was outstanding.

This is one of the nicer places I’ve been to on the coast. Being a downtown Portland local, I have a lot of selection and a lot of fancy restaurants to compare my rating to.

We made the trip to Depoe Bay to celebrate my wife’s birthday and found this intimate restaurant. It came highly rated and was perfect for a special occasion. Everyone on staff was so kind and really made the night special. The food was exactly what we wanted and the wine was paired really well. I want to try other things on the menu.

Absolutely outstanding experience. We got the five course tasting menu, and each was an absolute delight. For our tasting menu, we were started with albacore slices on an excellent aoli with greens, followed by a perfectly roasted salmon with a superb butter flavor and a marionberry sauce that complemented it wonderfully.

Arrived to a warm genuine welcome. It was the first day of spring The sun was out and the view was fantastic from our table. From the moment we sat down Steff served us the five course chef tasting menu with paired wine It was the perfect birthday celebration for my wife.

Chef Wills takes fine dining to another level at Restaurant Beck. We chose to do the five-course chef-driven tasting with the wine pairing. It was phenomenal – best meal either of us had ever had. The food surprised us at every turn and the wine expanded on the flavors, playing a sort of game with our tastebuds. I have never left a review like this before because no other meal has ever reached this level of excellence.

Best coastal dining experience ever. And the best Chef’s menu we’ve had in years. Such creative items like garlic ice cream, bacon snow, 999 sauce (creative by name at least). Wine parings were a great selection on their own. Atmosphere and the view are to die for. Go to watch whale spouts, sunset, and crashing waves.

Holy cow. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and Restaurant Beck did not disappoint. It is $$$$, but everything is so artistically prepared into works of culinary excellence. Unique pairings and fresh flavors will ignite your senses and render you speechless. Oh, and the homemade bread is to die for! If you truly want an ‘experience’ to remember (plus beautiful views in a romantic setting), don’t overlook this place. It’s a 5-star treat!

Great food, great service. We did the 5 course with wine pairings. I thought the wine pairings were spot on, and I appreciated that they were mostly Northwest wines, all of which I hadn’t tasted before, and we do head off into Oregon wine country on a semi-regular cadence….so now we’ve added some wineries to our list to visit. We loved the tataki with albacore; a really great take on a traditional Japanese dish. Didn’t love the ling cod as much, but I liked that it was local, and go ahead and try to make cod interesting, I dare you. The wagyu is American wagyu, so it’s just steak, but it was dressed and presented very well, and I thought the ‘doneness’ was perfect. This is the best you can get without ordering frozen steaks from Japan.

A gorgeous place for dinner. The food was generally quite good. It is possible they try a little much toward fancy (the lamb did not come with suggested sides, but with something very dark I couldn’t really identify). Would love to see a gourmet burger here.
