For the price and hype of sophistication, it was a disappointment for our 3rd anniversary. I ordered the bison ribeye, medium rare and it was unprofessionally cooked. Half was medium and other half was medium well plus not enough sauce to dip in. There was another couple there too and the husband ordered the same dish, same request which was also overcooked and he pointed it out to the server. If you’re going to charge $44, cook it right. The risotto was mushy which didn’t taste or look appetizing. The broccoli was the only thing that tasted good but for $44? I was only able to eat half my dish. My husband’s salmon dish was a bit overcooked too but edible. I gave it 2 stars overall because the service was decent as the server took the dish off the bill. As for the atmosphere, the people at the bar were loud which ruined the sophistication of dining. I wouldn’t trust and try the place again as the price is too high for mediocre cooked food.

I reserved the private dining room (no charge) for a party of 12. Food was good; everyone enjoyed their dinner. Dessert was beautiful. Service was great.

We were in the dining area. The bar is not separated. It is the frozen four tournaments. The bar was full of people celebrating, laughing, and talking very loudly. Some separation of the two would be so nice.

Ever seen a Cesar salad made with chopped iceberg lettuce? You shouldn’t! But if you do, just know this isn’t a proper Cesar and should run. As you can see below in the picture, I found 1 actual piece of green lettuce. The highlight of my meal!

Every restaurant in Duluth was booked, no reservations available anywhere. So we walked on down the street and stumbled upon this place. We were the only people in the restaurant! We were nervous at first, wondering why this place had no patrons, but we shouldn’t have been! Service was great! Food was delicious! Price was reasonable! This is a hidden gem and deserves a chance if you haven’t eaten here! Would definitely recommend, and we are pretty picky!! Well done!

We went with what was a 5 course dinner for New Years Eve. It took 20min atleast between dishes which we only made it half way through the main and packed up to leave cause it had been 90min. Into service and we weren’t hungry anymore. Two of our dishes came to us cold both of which we returned and one came back cold again …cold scallop and short ribs isn’t ideal for the $200 they charged us for the meal. I also ordered a cocktail which was ok although when I asked for another I received the same glass, straw, and what appeared to be the same squeezed lime from my previous drink. Who does that? The paper straw was already deteriorating why not put a new one and the same lime I squeezed into my first drink….come on.

If I could give them -100 stars I would. This is the worst place representing themselves as a restaurant. Our waitress was not mentally present she made every mistake possible and the sad excuse of what the manager called a chef, who is actually a line cook at best didn’t understand how to make eggs. I feel so sad that others will come here and experience what I experienced please don’t people don’t go anywhere else. Worst place on the planet

Chris Kelly gets all the Kudos. He is the drink and food manager and literally runs the bar and front of the house. So impressed with his knowledge and pure art and creativity of his drink menu!! He literally created his drinks from scratch and added local spin and ingredients. He has a story behind his creations. He is truly in a league of his own! Also we did have food and everything WAS HAND MADE and the Caesar salad was made with romaine lettece….not iceberg. Get your lettuces straight Adam.
