Restaurant 213 always has delicious options. Chef prepares each item with an eye to technique and a melding of flavors. He is quite passionate about food.

This time we went for the New Year’s Eve dinner, with a set menu but with options. The meal opened with consomme – perfectly clarified. We had the mushroom ravioli as an appetizer – absolutely amazing. I had the crab stuffed prawns for an entree… which was wonderful. My husband had the lamb… perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. And the dessert was tiramisu in one of Chef’s sugar/almond baskets (pictured). The whole meal was a delight.

Every meal we have had here has been carefully crafted. We have enjoyed tasting the food, and often we come for special wine/food paired dinners that have been quite lovely. Though some of the meals can cost some money, the regular menu is not all that different from other restaurants in the area that feature similar food items and wine.

Very much recommended!

I made a reservation for my boyfriend’s 26th bday here. The atmosphere was lovely; white tablecloths and Frank Sonatra playing all night. The only thing that was missing were candles, would have been a nice touch.
We chose from the date night menu, a 5 course meal. It was amazing, never had a better steak in my life. Our waiter was very pleasant and professional and timely. We enjoyed every course and even the palette cleanser. I will be going back again! Thanks for everything.

The food is delicious. My mother and I went for Easter for brunch. We would have gone back for dinner but we were still full. My mom had a lobster stuffed omelet, and I had eggs skipjack with fried oysters on top. I was supposed to get the bison steak for dinner. Next time.

The chef has done a lot of fancy cooking for a lot of fancy people and it shows up in the quality and taste of his food. When I’m back down that way I’ll be sure to stop by again. This would be a great spot to send Mom for her special day in May, or to celebrate some graduates entering new chapters of their lives.

Cozy restaurant with a few tables. The food was excellent! The steaks were cooked to temp and pizza was delicious. The mango mojito was very refreshing. Can recommend the creme brulee

Came in with my girlfriend a few nights ago and was impressed to see a fine dine restaurant like this in Salisbury. The service was pretty slow (must have been an off night or something) and there was no liquor license hence only 4 stars. However, I’m willing to give it another shot later on this month. Our server was great and the food was excellent. Pretty excited to go back.

I hate to leave bad reviews, but this meal was exceptionally bad.
First of all, they have no liquor license, so call before you go to see if that has changed.
We went on a Friday night at about 6:30, and we were the only people there. I think the waitress had to call the chef to come in, because he wasn’t there either.
The food took forever, and was it was obvious that it was frozen up until we ordered it. I had fish that was just a nasty mess, and raw in the middle.
We wanted to have coffee before we left, because we were tired from being there so long waiting for food~ and were told that they do not have espresso because they have to order it in bulk and it costs $3000. Like, excuse me, what?
Go elsewhere.

Worst meal ever. No liquor license when wine was supposed to be included. There was dog poop on the floor next to our table!!!!! No apologies for that. They told us we couldn’t order oysters because they were bad. They served cream of no crab soup that was so salty none of us could eat it. The filet steak was old so you couldn’t tell if it was rare because the meat was old and had turned gray!!!! The potatoes were the only thing I was able to eat. My stomach hurts now that I’m home and I pray I don’t have food poisoning. This place should be closed. Also they didn’t reduce the check. This cost $100.

Good service and good ambiance. The food was presented well but terribly overpriced and not prepared as well as it should have been. For instance, my fish was bland and a little overcooked and the souffles were very underdone, like soup in the bottom. I don’t mind paying for a pricey meal if it’s extraordinarily, but this did not live up to my expectations. Nothing to write home about!
