This time we went for the New Year’s Eve dinner, with a set menu but with options. The meal opened with consomme – perfectly clarified. We had the mushroom ravioli as an appetizer – absolutely amazing. I had the crab stuffed prawns for an entree… which was wonderful. My husband had the lamb… perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. And the dessert was tiramisu in one of Chef’s sugar/almond baskets (pictured). The whole meal was a delight.
Every meal we have had here has been carefully crafted. We have enjoyed tasting the food, and often we come for special wine/food paired dinners that have been quite lovely. Though some of the meals can cost some money, the regular menu is not all that different from other restaurants in the area that feature similar food items and wine.
Very much recommended!
We chose from the date night menu, a 5 course meal. It was amazing, never had a better steak in my life. Our waiter was very pleasant and professional and timely. We enjoyed every course and even the palette cleanser. I will be going back again! Thanks for everything.
The chef has done a lot of fancy cooking for a lot of fancy people and it shows up in the quality and taste of his food. When I’m back down that way I’ll be sure to stop by again. This would be a great spot to send Mom for her special day in May, or to celebrate some graduates entering new chapters of their lives.
First of all, they have no liquor license, so call before you go to see if that has changed.
We went on a Friday night at about 6:30, and we were the only people there. I think the waitress had to call the chef to come in, because he wasn’t there either.
The food took forever, and was it was obvious that it was frozen up until we ordered it. I had fish that was just a nasty mess, and raw in the middle.
We wanted to have coffee before we left, because we were tired from being there so long waiting for food~ and were told that they do not have espresso because they have to order it in bulk and it costs $3000. Like, excuse me, what?
Go elsewhere.
