Had a nice night out on the patio. Service was great. The young lady that helped us was super nice and friendly. The food could have been better. I ordered old bay wings and they didn’t taste like old or bay. Also ordered some cheese fries and then they made it to the table it was more cheese than fries but meh. They had a singer by the name of JC was performing. Very nice. I would give them another chance on another time to order different food.

Absolutely love this family run restaurant! Lovely location for work parties. With beautiful manicured gardens outside the large patio windows.

I tried their vegan menu and it was wonderful! The avocado fries were a great, healthy twist on a favorite side dish!! The enchiladas and rellenos were very tasty. The Tex Mex flavors were spot on…. with vegan cheese and “meat”! I would definitely recommend their vegan menu for vegans and meat eaters and all those people in between.

They had a live band one evening(Late Risers) which was awesome. The food was delicious. We had a drink made, and it was not good. Totally our fault as we didn’t read that there was banana syrup in it. However, the manager remade the drink to our liking with no questions asked. Our server was really good. They also offer a vegan menu, which was pretty cool. Will definitely visit again.

Went to Restaurant 198 in Burtonsville, and we were quite satisfied by their offerings which were fresh and pretty well-seasoned. The Broccoli cheddar soup was not too thick and had lots of cheese. The chicken mushroom was tasty and not dry paired with spinach and mash that tasted healthy without the rich butter. The vegetarian tacos were decent but the flavors could be more focused. Nice to have this choice near me.

I met a friend after church it was not too difficult to get a seat. A short wait seven or eight minutes. The server was polite and checked our order twice to make sure he had it right, it was his first day. He did perfect. The food was excellent the waiter checked on us make sure we liked our food kept our drinks full. All in all a wonderful experience I will be going back again.

This was our first visit to the restaurant which occupies the old Seibel’s restaurant location. We had a light lunch which included the fish bites basket ($15.95), a BLT sandwich ($9.99), fire-roasted tomato soup ($7.95), ice tea ($3.50) and coffee ($3.25). Our total lunch bill with tip included came to $52.00. The food was very good, and the service was friendly and attentive. We look forward to another visit to the restaurant.

We came for happy hour, which begins at 4pm. It was relatively empty, but more patrons started to enter around 5pm, probably in anticipation of the live music. We were seated promptly, and our food arrived quickly. We ordered wings and empanadas. The empanadas were awesome, especially the black bean and corn! The wings were ok. My barbeque wings did not have enough sauce. The layer of sauce was so thin, only the shine on them differentiated them from the Old Bay wings. My colleague’s Old Bay wings were a little salty to him. Our waitress was very attentive and polite; however, they were chinsy on the napkins. We asked for extra napkins and were given one a piece. The tables for two are small, so the table has to be cleared if two people are ordering multiple items. The bathroom could use some updating. The floors were blotchy and very old. It was clean. It had 2 stalls; one is wheelchair accesible. They also have a baby changing station in the wheelchair accessible stall. They did not have paper towels for patrons to dry their hands, so someone put a roll of toilet paper on top of the paper towel dispenser, which was tacky. They have several dessert options. You have to inquire about the pies in the display case. The apple was $6.95 per slice. The atmosphere is kind of small town dinerish. There is parking in the front and rear. There is also outdoor dining. Day 2: my empanadas were so-so the next day, so I suggest just enjoying them while they are fresh.

Always loved this place and now love it more since the chicken is halal. Hopefully they add more halal options soon. Also note: Centrado next door is owned by the same person so that will have halal chicken there soon.

We were a party of 5 when we visited for lunch yesterday and every single meal was fantastic. Their burgers are ground chuck and you can really taste the quality prep. The well-done arrived well-done and mine was medium – just as I ordered. One friend ordered the mussels and another ordered the chicken dish. Our server Jonah was cordial and professional. Each of us raved after leaving, asking why we hadn’t gone there sooner. Please see the attached pictures. (Sorry that we had already started eating before I remembered to take photos. LOL!)
