Wife and I had the 2 dinner special with steak and salmon. Came with a wonton soup & tasty seaweed appetizer. Priced reasonably and food was delicious. Curtis mixed delicious cocktails and was a great host. Finished with a mango cheesecake dessert which was included with the promotion. The restaurant is on the 14th floor with a seemingly great view of Detroit. It was foggy so we didnt get to see that. We will be back again.

First of all the vibe is indeed nice, beautiful view and decorated interior. Our waiter was also very nice. Other than that it was not a good experience. I went Sunday February 15…I have a lot of dietary preferences so I looked at the menu beforehand and picked some options. However when I got there there was one small menu on the table with much limited options. I was told because it was valentines “weeekend” (?) they had a special menu. Special menu meaning limited. I was there the day after valentines, not on a valentines celebration and my only option ended up being an Avacado salad. Was very excited to try this place but left unsatisfied

A bit dissatisfied with my experience at Republik. Had a reservation booked at 7 pm, but wasn’t seated until after 7:30 pm. Once finally seated, the view and atmosphere were amazing, but the food left some to be desired, lacked flavour. Main dishes not coming with either rice or noodles was not communicated, a bit strange.

Fantastic Asian restaurant! On the top floor of the CIBC building, Riverside drive. Lots of tables that take advantage of the spectacular view of down town Detroit and the sunset. Service was very attentive and food was excellent. I recommend the Republik rice – delicious. We will be back!

We ordered:
Honey Garlic Glazed Salmon – 5/10 not worth for $25, it lacks of flavour. Good portion
Shrimp Rice roll – 6/10 Good but need more sauce
Wonton soup – 2/10 needs more flavour tbh
Fried rice with shrimp – 4/10 too greasy and salty
General Tao – 5/10 if you are white you might think it’s good maybe try other flavor

This place has a really cool vibe, especially inside—it’s stylish and the view is amazing. There are a few things they could improve, though. The tables are pretty close together, so it didn’t feel very private. The food was solid overall; I just wish there were more sushi options and a few more main dishes to choose from. That said, I’d definitely recommend the karaage and calamari—they were both great. The service was a bit slow, but our server was friendly, which made up for it. All in all, a good experience, and I’d definitely go back.

So I really love the atmosphere parking could be a little bit better and we had a hard time trying to find it at first, but we found our way. The food was good The noodles were really good. Didn’t care for the calamari. It was something about the grease it just had a weird aftertaste But overall everything was pretty good. They didn’t have free refills. We asked them to make lemonade and the lemonade was really sour and it wasn’t sweet .The bathrooms were horrifically disgusting. The view was really pretty. I do feel like the staff was trying to take advantage of us because we were not from there when it came time to pay the money situation was really weird, but I let it go

Took my wife here for her birthday dinner last week. I was blown away by the atmosphere and the view. Unbeatable. Everything from how comfortable the chairs were to the fact that the tables didn’t wobble (that drives me nuts) was perfect. Everything was clean and smelled clean. The staff were very polite but didn’t linger. The food was top quality. 10 out of 10. I had the steak, which was one of the most tender I have ever had at a restaurant. I own a bartending company, and I was watching the bartenders. Their pours were spot on, the execution of the cocktails was spot on, and the taste was spot on. Well done to everyone at this restaurant. We will definitely return!
