The menu on google doesn’t match the current menu in person but the server allowed me to order the fried fish even though it was no longer on the menu. I was pleased since that was what I had come for. It was Saturday night at 7 pm and I was the only person there. I started to second guess coming at all but my order was in and it was too late to change my mind. I started with the yuca ball with cheese. They were $12 for 4 small 1 inch balls. They were flavorless and boring and ridiculously overpriced. The fish came out and looked and smelled delish. I recovered from the disappointment of the yuca balls and devoured the fish. It was nicely cooked and had good flavor but it was very little meat. That’s fine. I don’t have a huge appetite and it was yummy. My opinion improved, until… the check came. Nothing on the entire menu was over $27 and the salmon was $22 so I was expecting something in that neighborhood. Nope. They charged me $38. The fish was good but seriously! I could have had a beautiful piece of sea bass at Bonefish Grill or a proper steak at a fancy steak house for $38. Add the over priced fish to the boring $12 dough balls and I left still hungry and feeling completely ripped off. I paid the bill and left. Never to return again. I do not recommend this place.

Great dominican food restaurant. Excellent customer service. They just recently opened. My family and I were very pleased to visit it. Charlotte/Matthews area needed it. I recommend it to anyone who want to taste a bit of Quisqueya flavorful recipes. Now I know where to come to when I come to visit North Carolina and eat delicious dominican food.

Thursday’s specials are for mojitos and mofongos as shown in the picture!
Definitely best mojitos in town! They have different flavors: passion fruit (amazing), coconut (amazing #2), guava (amazing #3), watermelon and some others! I will come back for the mojitos.
Mofongos are amazing as well, they have different options but we went with our favorite: pork and it was delicious!
Lastly, the bartender, Junior was amazing as well! He was very attentive and kind!
Can’t wait to be back next Thursday!

Expensive food, good vibes and mid service. Been here a few times and each time is the same. They have a lot of potential but not there yet. Music way too loud for the space.
