Such a great experience. I didn’t catch our servers name but he was so informative about the area & some of the history. The food was amazing! We had half of the appies on the list, our entrees and dessert which was heavenly. This was a work dinner with 6 of us, perfect atmosphere and we could easily converse and hear one another.

From the moment we walked in the service was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The bartenders were very knowledgeable with great recommendations. The deviled eggs and pork belly lollipops were amazing. Chef Rays handmade pasta was miles beyond any standard restaurant pasta. With over 100 bourbons to pick from and half price wine bottle son Tuesday we can’t wait to come back!

Great gastropub! I went here for lunch right before noon with a buddy who comes here regularly. Not crowded. Bartender greeted us promptly and served us both waters.
I was eyeing the tater tots and asked the bartender what he would have. He immediately recommended the Pepper jack tots with charred scallion sour cream and so I agreed. These tots were huge and tasty! Absolutely recommend.
For our main course my buddy went with the Perfect smoked pastrami sandwich and I the Brisket grilled cheese. When they arrived we switched half of our sandwiches to get the best of both worlds. I loved the pastrami sandwich. Pastrami was on point. The grilled cheese was kind of basic, but still yummy.
As always, I ordered an IPA to wash my delicious meal and day down with.
All in all, great service, great food, great location. Highly recommend.

Stopped in for late dinner. Very focused menu, which I love! Went with the Republic candied bacon and egg, pork belly lollipop, and NY Strip Chicken Fried Steak. Everything was delicious! Loved the glaze on the pork belly and the chicken fried steak had just the right amount of breading that was light and crispy. Staff was great!

The BBQ here is amazing! And that’s saying something in a town with lots of good BBQ options to choose from! The brisket and sausage were both delicious and the sides were great too…slaw and potato salad. I was there with for a group lunch from work and the server did such a great job and was very friendly and helpful. This is a hidden gem that I’ll definitely be coming back to!

Was in town for a work trip. The place is very much a typical gastro pub but slightly elevated. Love in beams inside. The staff were incredibly kind and fun and had no short of food and drinks recommendations. They have a huge drink menu (great for bourbon drinkers). I like the meat board and the bourbon glazed meatballs. A great stop if you’re in North Dallas.

We popped by for a quick drink and appetizer and the service was amazing. The gentleman at the bar was quick, kind, and explained everything. I ordered a beer and my wife ordered the Tito’s and pomegranate gimlet. She absolutely loved it. We also ordered the crispy cauliflower bites. Would definitely come back again

Just to be clear, I never give anything 5 stars. I don’t believe in it. With that being said, Republic is a fantastic place. I’m so glad it’s in my neighborhood. Friendly staff, delicious food, brilliant drinks. I went there for a private party just now and am still reeling about my experience. Preesh!
