Love this place had been here. Multiple times. Always great experience atmosphere is great. The service is awesome and the food is good. We had buffalo cauliflower and eggplant. Flat bread with awesome cocktails, grapefruit and even the beer was very nice.

We ordered the beef stroganoff to-go and this portion was very small for the $35 price point, hardly enough for one portion, I would expect leftovers for a dish like this. The Philly cheesesteak here is good, but that too is a bit pricey for what it is ($22). I would say this place is worth it for the ambiance of sitting in at the bar or dining in, but takeaway is not a great value.

We have been to Republic so many times for so many reasons, including, Republic at the Linden when it was open.
When I say, so many times, we have literally had the chance to eat every menu option, except for the heart attack burger. I cannot recall a time where we didn’t really enjoy ourselves and the food.
The ambiance is cool, comfortable, and fun. The staff, from managers to reception, bar, or wait staff, have always been great. the dining room manager also walked around and personally asked patrons if they were enjoying everything, which was a nice touch.
We began the night with some cocktails, one with gin lemon and sage, which my wife apparently enjoyed too much, and a manhattan. We also had a glasses of Cali chardonnay and French Rose’ with dinner. Excellent!
Last nights dinner was comprised of Blackpoint and Ninigret Oysters, the bar pretzel appetizer, the McDowell burger, and dinner specials, Prawns and Chicken Confi. The meals were awesome. And we share a bite too, so, wow!!
We wrapped dinner up with espresso and dessert, bread pudding, baked Alaska, and orange olive oil cake. The desserts were devilishly incredible.
We love that they have staple meals and now the specials menu. The specials menu is a great way to keep customers curious and interested, the meals we had were
excellent due to their execution, appearance, and taste.

I had a fantastic meal at for Happy Hour! The highlight of my visit was their peach margarita—refreshing, perfectly balanced, and not too sweet. It paired beautifully with my bibs salad, which was crisp, fresh, and full of flavor.
I also tried the buffalo cauliflower off the happy hour menu, and it did not disappoint. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and coated in just the right amount of spicy buffalo sauce. The blue cheese dressing was a perfect dip, adding a cool, tangy contrast. Can’t forget I also had a couple oysters which were fresh and tasty as well.
Great atmosphere, friendly service, and delicious food—I’ll definitely be back!

From my first impression of friendly, accommodating staff at the host station right through our departure, this is a top-notch experience. If you’re not familiar with this restaurant group, they are often praised for outstanding food and service. Republic was no exception. In fact, our server Trinity, was the best server I’ve ever experienced. I rarely write reviews, but I’d be doing her, and the entire staff at Republic, a huge disservice if I didn’t mention how impactful their customer service made our experience. And our meals were excellent as well.

Come for the tasty food but stay for the cocktails and bar. Lucas and Courtney are true experts at their craft! Both are so knowledgeable and friendly, customer service at its finest. Beer selection is top notch, local stuff too. I gave the bartenders some creative liberty and they both made me some of the best drinks I’ve ever consumed (they were very busy too) Bar crowd, ambiance, music and overall “bar vibe” is very cool, a true gastropub I will be back!

Great service and atmosphere, but food quality and pricing need a second look.
Alli was our server, and it was actually her first day. You wouldn’t have known it. She did a fantastic job… warm, attentive, and welcoming from the moment we walked in.
That said, a couple of things stood out….
A small glass of soda was $3.50. Maybe that’s the new industry norm, but it was flat. Not a great start.
The deviled eggs were beautifully presented, but at $6, we expected something fresher. They tasted like they’d been sitting in the fridge… or possibly even the freezer… a bit too long.
The short rib dish was the highlight. It was tender, flavorful, and well-executed. Still, $40 felt steep for the portion size.
In my opinion, which may not count for much, if you’re going to charge upscale prices, the experience should be consistently high quality… not just in presentation, but in freshness and overall value.
Great staff and a cool vibe. Just some room to tighten up the details. Looking forward to coming back and seeing how the menu evolves. Wishing the team continued success.

Perfectly cooked steak and scrumptious fries! Really hit the spot. Julitza: sweet smile, attentive & warm as a server. My one complaint would be where we were seated… it was lunchtime and incoming guests were crammed into one certain row of tables…. It was the kind of scenario where you can hear everyone’s conversation around you… happens to be one of my pet peeves. Not my experience during past visits, though, and overall I view Republic as a solid dining option, especially when meeting friends or with a group.

I recently visited Republic Gastropub and had an excellent experience. The pizza was fantastic – perfectly crispy crust, flavorful sauce, and fresh toppings that made every bite satisfying. The calamari was also a standout, cooked to perfection with just the right amount of crispiness and tenderness. On top of the great food, the service was outstanding. Both the server and the usher were incredibly kind and nice, making us feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout the meal. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the staff’s warmth really added to the overall experience. I highly recommend Republic Gastropub for a delicious meal with great service!
