I went to republic tonight before 10pm, to relax and it’s only place I could think of with really good lamb chops! The atmosphere was chill with nice R&B music for dinner. I felt very comfortable. The bartender Cee was so nice and made me feel comfortable as I haven’t been out in awhile. The owners are amazingly kind! And crowd was good and very mature.

Let’s talk about this lamb burger they have on the menu LAWD have mercy is it so good. The flavors and it was tender also. The bun was toasted too. I have different things from here before as far as the wings and the lamb chops. I’ve never been disappointed. If you don’t know about it learn about it because the food is very good and the prices are good too.

Sipped water from a plastic cup and waited 55 minutes for a mimosa flight and our entrees. We were one of 2 tables and arrived when they opened so they weren’t busy. They were out of a couple of things I ordered initially. No sorbet for sorbet mimosas and they were waiting on champagne delivery. On a positive note the food was very good and the 90s playlist was awesome.

The atmosphere here is welcoming and has a nice vibe in it. We were served by Aryn at the bar and she provided exceptional customer service! I asked her to make me a Jim Bean drink and she did very well with my drink. We even ordered food and it came out very quick. We ordered empanadas and Caribbean Spring Rolls. Everything was good. I would definitely come back!

My friends and I went for brunch this past Sunday. Honestly, it was one of the worst brunch experiences I’ve ever had. The website is deceitful!! Claims a dress code of “Sophisticated Casual”, when in fact…it should say come as you are! Even the bartender had on a sweat suit with stains on the front. Limited beer menu, atmosphere nothing like it claims on its website. The music was not appropriate at all for my diverse friends. Now…the food…the food was pretty darn good!! And this alone is the reason I gave it two stars.

The menu looks amazing! However, I’ve gone to this place twice during times it was listed as open. Both times they were closed without rhyme or reason. The first time, the door was locked and lights were off with no sign on the door as to reason they’d either be closed that day or open later. The second time, the door was open; however, they were only open for doordash because they had no one to operate to “work the front”. I want to support our own but we have to do better in how we conduct business. I hope they get it together.
