We started this business because we wanted to bring an experience like no other to our area. I went for dinner service and ordered the wings, the buffalo sauce was a bit salty for my liking. I tried the soul food egg rolls and they were delicious, I wish I could have ordered that as a plate of food! The long island was strong! The server did not skimp on the liquor. If I’m ever near by, I definitely would go back and try the catfish and perhaps the swing too! Lol

If you’re looking for good food keep looking… I decided to go here because there was a good review on their stuffed salmon but that person that made the review either doesn’t know good food or there was a different cook than who cooked my food. My salmon was the worst salmon I’ve ever had from a restaurant the only good thing I can say is it didn’t make me sick and I’m grateful for that. The broccoli I got was piping hot like it just came out of the microwave and tasted like it too, the salmon was barely warm though. The plate had grease and finger prints all over it. Normally I would’ve said something while I was there but there wasn’t anything else I wanted on the menu and it took long enough to receive my food in the first place. This place may be a good place to have a drink and gamble bur I would not go purely for good food there are plenty of better options in Springfield. The tables are more set up like a dance club rather than a restaurant. Hopefully this helps someone from getting “catfished” by a good review thinking you were about to eat a quality meal.

Stopped in for a bite to eat while downtown for a car show. Had chicken and waffles and husband had shrimp and walleye. Food was so flavorful and cooked perfectly. The bartender was working by herself and did an amazing job holding down the busy crowd. We will definitely be back again!

I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and all of it has great flavor. Food and drinks are fairly priced and portion sizes are generous. The stuffed salmon, which is part of their lunch special, is my favorite. Delicious as are the egg rolls. Not sure if he’s still there but Chef Ray deserves an award. Bartender Darcey concocts a new Shot of the Month flavor each month, and drink specials/events are a constant. Also, the concept of swings at the bar is unlike any other restaurant in Springfield! Highly recommend.

Went there, had good time! The lady, Kiki, was so nice to us! The wait for food was long, but not crazy, and the food was worth waiting! My mother ordered salmon with onion rings and said it was the best dish she had in a while! Would recommend to go there closer to evening, good for a big groups!

Great food! Great service! Ordered the shrimp and grits, but they were “out of shrimp”. Got the fish and grits instead. The catfish was cooked and seasoned to perfection! I will definitely return!

Not as busy as it should have been. Curiosity brought me in, the mind blowing food and service will bring me back. Do glad I made the decision to go in. Service was outstanding and friendly. Owner was present and engaging, an extra star for that in my book.
The food… damn the food was good. My son had the Cajun Chicken Pasta. I had the Catfish and Shrimp. It’s enough to write home about, and certainly worth the review. Come make this place busy. You won’t regret.

Laid back, unique, friendly, and amazing food. Our server, Estella (thank you!) , did an awesome job!The atmosphere, as I said, was laid back but cool and unique. We had the Pony Shoe, the Horse Shoe, and the Fried Deviled Eggs… YUM YUM. The Fried Deviled Eggs were so good, with there was more (4 deviledd Eggs, 2 shrimp, on romaine lettuce, with teriyakisauce)!
