Ordinarily, I don’t eat pizza with a fork and knife, but today I made a righteous exception. “The Clubhouse Pizza” might be my new favorite comfort food. There are eggs on it—hear me out. Whoever is running that pizza oven is are artist. The yolks were runny but the whites were cooked through perfectly. The salt from the toppings and cheese balanced perfectly with the egg, over a crispy chewy crust. I can’t overstate how wonderful this meal was, on such a frigid afternoon.
It’s winter and the weather today was awful. Shout out to our excellent server, Tatiana, who gave us such a warm welcome that I forgot about my wet socks. She took care of us, and even tracked down an IPA that was on tap in the adjacent pool hall. She was so attentive and her good nature was contagious!

Update- We tried Clubhouse again after a mediocre visit last time and got food to go. Once again orders were off. We both ordered meat sauce and I got chopped meatballs and he got like no meat in it at all except his few meatballs on top. He got the wrong type of pasta today as well. 2 for 2 wrong pasts. Again it was dead like 2 people eating and a few playing pool. Also, my husband asked for no parm on his food and the side potatoes had parm. I ate them and they were good as was the cheese bread. The pasta doesn’t seem like a good quality and wasn’t my favorite. Most likely won’t be back but might give it a shot in a few months again because I am a glutton for punishment I guess.
Old- We order food to go on Tuesday. It wasn’t super busy and food was decently quick but I would have preferred they slowed down and got the order correct. I ordered Chicken Alfredo which was delicious but for $25 I would have expected fresh made pasta. My husband got Spaghetti and Meatballs and ordered it with Ziti pasta. He couldn’t double check the pasta because of all the cheese on top but it was angel hair and way overcooked. (The amount of cheese isn’t a complaint but covered the pasta entirely so without digging into it he couldn’t tell) He asked for the meat sauce and until halfway through he didn’t find any meat. There were maybe 10 pieces of meat in the “meat” sauce and that’s an overestimation. We also ordered and appetizer of Mozzarella Sticks. They were a disappointment. They were flappy, greasy pieces of breaded cheese and we did not get the marinara sauce for them. We love to get mozzarella sticks and the flavor was there but the grease and the sogginess killed it. We live less than a mile away so it’s not like the food sat for a long time before eaten. We did get fries and let those sit while we ate and they stayed nice and crunchy. Overall some things are a hit and some are a miss.

Tried a new restaurant. We tried the Italian items tonight. The portions were good and the food had great flavor. Stayed for the dueling pianos. Next time will check out the billiard tables and the pizza.

The space is very nice and clean. I thought the food was ok but everyone else at my table seemed to enjoy theirs! We came for lunch so sandwhiches, salads, etc. It looks like they do live music which I bet is fun during dinner time. I was disappointed in our service though which is why I rated it lower. We came at a non busy time with maybe 2 other tables at the time we were sat. We were a party of 8 and our food came out very sporadically. 3 people got all their food, then 3 more got their food about 5-10 minutes later, and then 2 of us had to wait longer for ours. The waitress was hard to flag down and she didn’t check on us until almost everyone was already done eating. I got the stuffed mushroom and salad but the mushroom came out last after the rest of my party was done eating. I was frustrated with how she handled this, didn’t offer to take it off the bill, didn’t check in when others were eating, and was difficult to flag down when we wanted to pay. I would still recommend this place for the food and atmosphere. They also have parking which is a plus!

This place has a great vibe. Cocktails were great.
Unfortunately the food left a lot to be desired. Pizza dough was under proved and tight. Pasta dishes were way too salty, almost unpalatable.
We tried a few times to be sure.
Again super great vibe and a bar worth visiting… Kitchen needs some work on execution.

EDIT: The owner is trying to suggest I manufactured this photo. I’m not really sure why anyone would take the time to do that. This happened to multiple of our slices. One slice had a slop of toppings that had dropped onto it from another piece and I moved it off with my knife to show what our slices looked like.
I’d also like to mention that I didn’t complain, I didn’t make a fuss or ask for my money back. I was trying to portray my honest experience of this place and the food. And clearly I am not the only one who thinks this.

I chose the chicken Parmesan and my wife chose the stuffed ravioli. There is a spice in the sauce that I cannot identify, but I could do without and the sauce for the ravioli is quite thick and we would probably have preferred about half the sauce on the portion.. the Italian creamy dressing was absolutely amazing and the twisty bread is also thumbs up

I would give this 10 out of 5 stars if I could. This place is in a super cool building, amazing service, and really good food.
In particular, the fried calamari appetizer is so good that I would come here just for that. You get good crispy complementary bread that is absolutely amazing too.

Went for their Mimosas Brunch Sunday! The vibes were laid back and the pool tables were nice. The food was okay and the Mimosas were good. Will be back!

I preface this review as there was another large party upstairs. The atmosphere of the place is pretty cool, like the feeling, the vibe and the pool tables in the back. Our dining experience however, was less than desirable. We had a sizable group as well. Some folks didn’t get their food. Other folks had cold food as a did I. I got the minestrone soup and the meatballs with pasta. The marinara sauce was sweet and had good flavor. The pasta was done well but the dish itself one brought to me was about half cold. The minestrone soup was very tasty. The bread they brought out at the beginning was also very tasty, warm and seasoned very well. They also brought plates of oil to dip them in. The person that made the suggestion and was very excited. Due to their past, experiences did not receive their food until after everybody else received it and the first pizza didn’t have everything on it and the second one the gluten-free portion of the pizza was very dry and hard. She apologized profusely. We made the best of the situation. By no means do I think this is common for them but I would suggest if they have a rather large party I would call ahead to make sure they have enough food for the dishes you want and enough staff. I hope my next dining experience there is much better.
