This is hands down the best around town. If I could give this place a 100/100 I would. Not only was the service FAST but the food was so delicious! We might have to go back again tomorrow!! I got the GRILLED PORK NOODLES BÚN THỊT NƯỚNG, GRILLED PORK SANDWICH HEO NƯỚNG, and their spring rolls. When you go ask for extra sauce and extra fried rolls (trust me you’ll love it!). If you need a quick bite this is the place!! Plus the portions are enough for a second meal!!

Vietnamese cuisine is no short supply in Renton. Especially with a major Vietnamese grocery store and long time restaurants with the city.

However, there are times, you just want a bahn mi, or something quick to grab – a very Vietnamese thing. Where can you go? Enter, Renton Deli!

Renton Deli, located in the Renton Highlands neighborhood, IS NOT a western/American deli. It is very much a Vietnamese deli with an all Vietnamese menu. There is no Pho to be had here. However, there are some quintessential Vietnamese grab and go classics that are here.

Noodles (i.e. Bun) with sausages, Hum bao, and of course lots of Vietnamese style desserts.

However, if a bahn mi is what you are looking for, look no further. There is pulled chicken, grilled pork and tofu available. Please be advised, this is not a fast process. You will be waiting at least 10-12 minutes for your sandwich. Longer if there is a line. But that’s okay. Plan accordingly, as these sandwiches are made to order, and hot.

Don’t forget to grab some soda’s in the case behind you to finish the experience.

Add Renton Deli to your routine of great grab and go cuisine in our fair city of Renton.

A quick takeout Vietnamese deli specializes in sandwiches and noodle soups. There’s no table for dine in. Food was really tasty and service was quick. Credit cards were accepted, but 3% extra for the fees.

I come here often since it’s close to where I live.
Every single dish I’ve tried has been amazing — the sandwiches, spring rolls, noodles, you name it! The prices are nice, and the drinks are great as well. I just wish they opened a little earlier and stayed open longer!

The people in there were really nice. Atmosphere is above average for a deli. Though, the food is not worth the price. $7.95 for a 20oz Vietnamese coffee that’s served with 10oz of ice, 6oz of syrup, 1oz of coffee, and 3oz of air. There’s also not a lot of selection of Banh Mi sandwiches, which tastes below average and costs the same as other places.

Everything was really nice and standard as expected from a Vietnamese deli!

While the food was pretty standard, which still means good as it’s a Vietnamese deli and you can hardly go wrong with anything.

However, the main star of the show is the great and friendly service along with the speed. As well as the AMAZING prices. By amazing, we are talking $4 for good teas which would be more expensive to other places. As this is a deli though, it isn’t amazing but it certainly is fine and tasty.

I ordered a pate chaud and they had it out right then and there as well with my thai tea which was pretty alright!

Pate chaud was crispy and brown, I don’t believe it was fresh as it was the last one they had but it was warm and still yummy. VERY cheap too.

Thai tea was solid, no standard black tapioca but it was good. Also very cheap!!

Everything was fine, I don’t have any critiques. Renton could really used a small Vietnamese deli and while this isn’t the best, it certainly will do! Come here for cheap and standard Vietnamese food that you can hardly ever go wrong with.

Will definitely be coming here again!

There is no indoor dining by the way, just takeout at least from what I saw.

Used to be REGULARS here, and order 2-3 times a week. The shrimp fresh rolls are amazing. Although, I was a bit taken aback when I noticed they kept them room temperature on the counter. But sometimes, most times they were made fresh so this wasn’t an issue. However, last time ordering, my husband freaked out, and almost choked on a piece of plastic. I’m really glad he spat it out! This is a major hazard and completely unacceptable. We haven’t returned since. Also, their hours and availability are way too limited. Lastly, the egg rolls I finally ordered one time from their case, were hard, dry, gross, and inedible. Bahn mi wasn’t that great either. The shrimp fresh rolls were the best thing here, but hygiene and food safety is a big deal to me.

Great little Vietnamese deli in the Renton Highlands that offers some of the Vietnamese deli staples such as: banh mi, ca phe sua da (Vietnamese iced coffee), different types of rolls (fresh or fried) and even some noodle soup options. Their banh cuon is my go to and i usually combo it with a blended Viet coffee.
