I moved to the neighborhood about 6 months ago and this has been the best discovery. The service is great, the people are remember your name, and the menu changes seasonally. It’s a great place to bring your laptop and work or bring a book and read. If you don’t have either and still wanna hang, they have a great selection of books to purchase (new & gently used). Along with local vendors and their cute crafts.
They also support the local shelter and host a ‘Cat & Coffee’ day where they bring in kittens and awareness for adoption. I’ve attended their craft events that are really fun.
Basically this place is great and you gotta come check it out if you’re around. You might just end up walking out with more than just a coffee 🙂

I love the ambience! I saw this on Google Maps this past Halloween, and I was looking forward to trying it for a while!

The baristas on the coffee shop part of this place and the staff member in the bookstore are very nice and friendly

I wish I lived and/or worked closer to frequent this place more often

Ren’s cafe is a cute and welcoming gem! Delicious coffee/muffins and staff was friendly. Absolutely loved the atmosphere and ambiance of browsing for a new book while sipping on coffee/eating a pumpkin muffin and then curling up in the corner to read or listen to soothing music. The only negative was the shop is small and therefore there is not enough places to sit and just enjoy being there for a good read.

Like a fool, I didn’t visit this place until nearly a year after they opened and I so wish I had sooner. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming into their little spot and the coffee is ridiculously good. You can tell they’re passionate about the craft. And with a modest bookstore attached (with sections that highlight local authors, even) you’re likely able to complete the experience and leave with a new title and a tasty bev. The ‘RENU’ changes seasonally, and I haven’t had a drink I didn’t like yet. This quickly became my go-to coffee spot, and for good reason!

I highly recommend their specialty menu the flavors are amazing! But the real charm here is the bookstore. The vibe is perfect. You can browse books in a comfy chair. The details around the store are so fun. I feel like you’ll constantly find something new hiding in a nook. Definitely a book lovers haven!

REN’s is by far the best coffee shop I have ever been to. The staff is friendly and kind. The coffee is out of this world. The atmosphere is truly wonderful. REN’s is so amazing. Every time I go I can feel a peaceful bliss wash over me and I cannot recommend them enough. On top of all of this, they are an amazing part of their community from hosting events for the community to having some many customer based experiences, such as book club, writers club, and so much more! If you’re in the area and want a great place to have a coffee and maybe buy a book, check them out!

My absolute favorite coffee shop ever!! The coffee alone is enough of a reason to keep coming back, but then add how cute it is, how friendly the staff is, and the fact that I can get a used book for like $5 or less???? And I’m there. Everytime. I honestly think I’m there too much

Rens Coffeehouse is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the cozy bookshop-meets-café vibe wraps you up like your favorite blanket. I had the salted caramel pretzel latte and wow — easily one of the best lattes I’ve ever had! Sweet, salty, perfectly balanced, and beautifully made. The staff was so warm and welcoming, and we even got to chat with the owner who was incredibly kind and clearly passionate about her space. Can’t wait to come back! ☕

A nice small cafe/independent book store. My husband found it because he is always looking for things he thinks I am going to enjoy. They have events scheduled for the month (just waiting for the February schedule to be posted) and they just started a book club! The staff was extremely friendly starting from ordering the drinks to when I was browsing the books. Great customer service. I look forward to visiting again.

Not alot of seating for the cafe part but it was still inviting being surrounded by plants and funny quotes and quaint decorations. The bookstore part has some seating and tables as well. It’s just hard to get a table when it gets busy. Luckily we were able to get a table by the window to eat and enjoy our coffees.

Very cute bookstore and coffee shop in Blackwood! I frequent there even though it’s a little bit further. Their specialty lattes are always amazing and their treats are delicious! They have some seating indoors and cute outdoor seating when the weather is nice. There is also the bookstore connected to the coffee shop so you can browse or buy books while waiting for your drinks. I haven’t attended any yet, but I know they host different events throughout the month. Staff is always friendly and welcoming.
