Other plates ordered were Shakshuka and Italian sausage linguine. Both plates were full of flavor and left plenty for seconds later!
So much flavor and tempting delectables here, you will not have a problem finding the perfect item for your stomach.
I was not crazy about the front register person; however, she was very quiet and seemed not thrilled to be explaining our menu questions. Since this was my first experience here, I would have liked more interaction.
As the photographer who had the chance to photograph every item on the menu at Rendezvous International Cafe, I also ended up tasting most of them—and that gave me a rare, honest perspective.
From a European coffee perspective, the coffee here is genuinely excellent: well-extracted, balanced, and consistently good. This isn’t just a café with “nice vibes”—it’s a place that takes quality seriously.
The menu is extensive, covering entrées, mains, and desserts, and what impressed me most is that the food doesn’t just look great on camera—it actually tastes as good as it photographs. That’s not something I can say often after long food shoots.
The space itself is warm and inviting, a beautiful corner spot with a pleasant outdoor terrace that works just as well for a quiet coffee as it does for a full meal.
Working closely with Mustafa, the owner, and Ahmed, the manager, I also saw firsthand how much care goes into both the food and the way guests are treated. The entire staff is professional, welcoming, and clearly proud of what they serve.
Having seen and tasted the menu from start to finish, I can confidently say this is a place built on quality, not shortcuts. Highly recommended.
Walking in, the smell is delightful and the decor is clean and easy to navigate. I appreciate an open bakery/cafe feel.
Ahmedkamel was very helpful with ordering and deciding on my options.
The employees were friendly and kept a clean environment. Music was easygoing and not overwhelming.
Family friendly, but definitely somewhere I could see myself sitting alone to read with a meal or with a few friends.
Food:
I enjoyed the mixed berry crepe with sweet cream cheese. Was pleasantly surprised by the fullness of the plate and love put into the build.
I’ve eaten crepes at other restaurants for a similar price, but only half the filling and top chewy.
Rendezvous did an excellent job and I look forward to tasting all the flavors!
But now when it comes to dessert I was definitely not impressed. I bought over 50$ worth of dessert to take home with me (not pictured is 2 brownies and a crème brûlée). The brownies were EXTREMELY dry to the point I was tempted to drive 40 minutes back to ask for different ones or a refund and I am never that type of person. I did try to call first but of course no one answered the phone. The other little desserts were okay but not worth 9-12$ each. 2 of them tasted old like the moose was way past its throw out date I couldn’t even eat them I just had to throw them away. I was very upset with this experience when it comes to their desserts and customer service on getting ahold of them over the phone. I regret spending so much money on the desserts for most of them to be too old or dry to even eat but you live and learn. I will praise the chocolate raspberry moose dessert though it’s the only on that I could actually eat and enjoy it was very delicious.
Easy parking! Clean dining area with plenty of seating options.
The menu was easy to navigate, but I did ask for help to make a choice because l wanted 5 different things
Food: I ordered the Salmon toast on white toast. I LOVED the capers and lemon with the cream cheese… The salmon was smoked and had a nice balanced flavor. It came with house made chips which were Perfectly crunchy. Not hard or burnt. Seasoned well.
Surprisingly filling and just the right amount…
I would much rather spend $10 on this and be satisfied,
than spending it on a chain fast-food breakfast/ brunch sandwich and be disappointed and have indigestion.
