Staff are warm and personable. The food is fantastic. What a great date night spot. We had the Surf & Turf and everything was cooked to perfection. We even ordered more of their Yukon gold mashed potatoes as a side because we weren’t ready for the experience to be over. The apple cider cheesecake is my new favorite cheesecake.

It was a very busy night and the kitchen quickly triaged to accommodate both large and small parties. The dining room got loud but it was mainly because they were packed and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Now, I need to check them out for lunch because dinner was so good!

Amazing experience here. Vast menu with something for everyone. The Wagyu burger was by far one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. Met the chef/owner, who was extremely nice! Dessert was an apple crisp, made was from a recipe handed down from his grandmother which was incredible.

We stopped in here on Friday night. It wasn’t busy and we were seated outside quickly which seemed all great. We put in the following order: 3 specialty cocktails, fried artichokes, small Caesar salad. Entrees: Mac and cheese, steak dish, ravioli dish.

Drinks came quickly with apps not far behind. Apps seemed fine, salad was nothing special. Cocktails were terrible, poor balance (pomegranate margarita) or ingredients (cucumber refresher thing).

Then we waited. For an hour. No one checked in (not even water) and we eventually went inside to ask about an update. If they forgot our food we were fine closing out. They assured it was on the way. Eventually it showed up and it was not worth the wait. Mac and cheese insanely bland. Zero salt added. Equivalent of hospital food. Ravioli was swimming in a liquid sauce, also bland. Steak was way over cooked. We added wine when we checked on entrees and I took this picture with the pour lines (classy!) on it… tell tale sign that management is so worried about margins they don’t trust their servers to pour 6oz.

Final insult was the lack of apology or any genuine care of the server. She tried to throw the back of house under the bus (which to be fair the food deserved criticism) but they’re not the only reason we won’t be back. The bill was $200, so, this place isn’t just a cheap diner where you shrug your shoulders and say oh well you get what you pay for.

I gave 2 stars because it seemed quaint enough but needs a rescue in front and back. Overall bummer.

We stayed in Welches for Christmas and went here for Christmas Eve. OMG! This was hands down the best restaurant food I’ve had in Oregon. I’m very picky about my garden burgers and usually end up taking the patty off the bun and just eating the bun. Their quinoa garden burger was phenomenal. So good. The salad was so simple but amazing! Their sweet potato fries tasted like they came from heaven. They had a maple reduction on it that was incredible. My goal will be trying to recreate that until I can make it back for another visit next year. Wow! Everything was spectacular! We did have to wait a bit for the food but it was well worth it and they have beautiful paintings to look at while you wait!

The halibut cheeks special were okay and warm (not hot) with plenty of extra vegetables without an upcharge. The wagu burger was chewy (how does that happen) and well-done, not medium rare as ordered. The sweet potato fries were hot and crispy. The bread (when provided after asking for it) had nice crusty with soft inner bread was tasty.

We were asked if we had a reservation when we arrived at about 6:30, which we didn’t. Yes there were only a few tables available, but they emptied within 15 minutes. It took an hour to get our food, which was primarily warm, not hot.

The waitress was personable.

We have been going there on and off for the last 20 years. The change in ownership for the restaurant does not appear to have done it any favors.

Had a brief getaway to Mt. Hood and came here for dinner back to back nights, it was so good. Every soup on the menu is phenomenal and served appropriately hot. Add a seafood skewer to whatever you get, you wont regret j
It. Mushroom ravioli is phenomenal, steaks to perfection, just a strong menu and worth it for a memorable night out.

Great little gathering place with a delightful menu. We stopped here for gathering with family friends. It’s not the first time here but both times were equally impressive.
We gathered for dinner and both the food menu and drink menu had plenty of options. Our group tried a little bit of everything.
The bread and salads had plenty of flavor. They make their own croutons in house, as well as some dressings. You won’t find this flavor anywhere else.
The steak and golden Yukon mashed potatoes were cooked to perfection. All their beef is sourced locally from organic farms, which means you’re not getting commercial grade cuts.
The mushroom ravioli was filled with flavorful mushrooms. Each bite was a delight to the taste buds.
Another amazing dish we had was the smoked salmon Alfredo. You can taste the salmon in each bite and they definitely didn’t skimp on the fish portion. This is one of the largest plates they have, so make sure you have an empty belly when attempting this plate. Or you can have them split it between two people like we did.
The final entree we had was the pork loin sandwich. Cooked to perfection and loaded with flavor, this is a dish anyone can enjoy. It comes with your choice of fries or a mixed green salad. The salad had its house made vinegarette on it. Again, another flavor only found here.
To top everything off, we finished with a white chocolate cheesecake that just made our taste buds dance with joy. They are well proportioned slices, so if you’re feeling full, splitting a slice between two or three people will be good. It was very rich in flavor.
I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for good dining. Expect between 30 to 50 per person. Definitely going to go back.

Both hours of operation for reservations and service are Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat. Best to book week prior. Healthier food options & it is a low lit & quiet setting with good service.
First time customers for our anniversary. Looked up nice restaurants and chose it based on location and it was also recommended to us. Friendly & professional staff. Mid-sized place. Seats fifty in restaurant and thirty on bar side. Would have preferred the bar side had i knew it was an option, peaked over there to check it out and the host filled me in on how many each side seats.

My friend and I stopped in for dinner the evening of July 4th after spending the day hiking around Mt. Hood. Rendezvous was recommended to us by two different locals when we mentioned we were looking for really good seafood. They were right; it was a great meal! The host was friendly and welcoming. Our server Miller was outstanding: genuinely kind and very knowledgeable of the menu.
The Crispy Fried Artichoke Hearts were one of the best apps I’ve had in a long time. My friend and I both ordered the Smoked Salmon Fettuccini and loved it. It was one of the best seafood dishes I’ve ever had. I had the delicious Honey Creme Brulee for dessert, and my friend said his Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie was incredible.
Perhaps most impressive, even at the end of their extremely busy day (working on the 4th), all of the employees seemed to genuinely love working at Rendezvous.
