We ran into our friends in Jackson on our first day and their last day of vacation. We picked Rendezvous as it’s right next to our hotel. 3 of us had the Idaho Trout, it’s little on the plain side as flavor goes and mine was bit cold. My wife had the Pork chop which was little pink inside but juicy and flavorful. My son had his first man burger 🙂 bye-bye Hamburger Happy Meal. Friend’s kids ordered Escago and medium rare steak, very mature taste.
Service was fast and friendly.

We went to Rendezvous Bistro today. It was pretty busy, but our table was ready fast. First we ordered couple cocktails, which were great , then for appetizers we had Fried Calamari and Beef Tacos. Calamari were really good and beef taco was just okay (little dry). We’ve been waiting pretty long for entree’s (about 40 min after appetizers). We got our Veal Marsala and Steak Frites. I ordered steak well done, but it was really BURNED and tasted so bitter and dry. Steak comes with house-made fries, but it doesn’t taste good either. Fries is so thin. Veal Marsala tasted better, but still nothing special. Now it’s off season in Jackson and they have great deal $2 for second entree, so this made our check look much better. Prices are normal. $13-$14 for each appetizer, steak is $34 and $33 for Veal Marsala. Service was okay. After all, we got not so good impression about this place.

Outstanding experience. I don’t understand some of the comments about the price. If you want a cheaper dining experience with mundane food, go to Outback or the likes. If you want a Chef-Inspired dining experience, then I highly recommend Rendezvous Bistro. We had reservations and were promptly seated on a busy Friday night. Our drinks were refreshing and the food was absolutely outstanding. My Wife had the Duck and I had the Blackened Blue-nosed Sea Bass. It was one of the better dining experiences that we have had in quite some time. I would highly recommend. This is definitely a restaurant where you “get what you pay for”.

We went for happy hour and it was great! They have happy hour from 5:30pm (when they open) until 6:30pm. Drinks were half price so it was an awesome deal!
They recently re-added shrimp scampi to the menu and it was delicious!
We sat at the bar and were waited on by Phill, who was amazing! He was super nice and well educated on all of the offerings and specials. We will definitely be back!

Excellent service and food. The baguette bread was light and flaky, nearly like a croissant. I had the halibut which was fantastic. My wife had the lamb chops with a pesto sauce. Pleasant surprise. Highly recommended!!

Ate here while visiting Jackson, as recommended by a local. It did not disappoint. The steak frites was amazing and the customer service was even better. My mom’s steak came out undercooked and the server immediately took it back for her to fix it. We even had another person (manager maybe?) come out and apologize for the steak being undercooked. All of the food was delicious and we will definitely be coming back next time we are in the area.

Took my friend on her first trip to Jackson this weekend. Upon the recommendation of a local shop owner, we went to dinner at Rendezvous Bistro. What a great recommendation.
My friend had the seared Ahi Tuna and I had the Miso-glazed Black Cod and both were executed to perfection. I was blown away with the quality of the fish and the technical preparation of the dishes.
I don’t often eat dessert, but my eye caught the Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake, and it blew me away. It was the best dessert I’ve had in 20 years.
Staff was awesome; coat check, reception, server, manager were all friendly and helpful. Environment was close quarter cozy, low-light, and very clean. I loved every aspect of this experience.

This place has really beautifully executed food. The escargots are exactly as in France. The Idaho trout is prepared with much thought toward French country cuisine authenticity. Then, with a big nod to great American comfort food, they crank out the best meatloaf I’ve ever had.

All of the food was amazing. We had the calamari, winter salad and shared the special short ribs. It did feel like the server was rushing us and wasn’t very friendly. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.
