I have ordered Lebanese from this location for many years. I thought the food was incredible! I ordered twice within the past month and probably won’t go back. The gyro & schwarma had no flavor. The portion size has been reduced. Very , very disappointed as this place was one of my favorites!!

Today was my first time ordering. I had heard how good the food was but thought i didn’t like lebanese food. Well turns out I WAS WRONG!!!!! OMG the shrimp pasta was literally the best thing I’ve ever eaten! The shrimp are beyond huge and fresh and the alfredo sauce is delicious! And the portion size is awesome. Better be hungry. I will be a loyal customer from now on!

Went in and order a sausage cheese biscuit and got a cheese biscuit NO!!! Sausage. And 2 pieces of link sausage and a 20oz Dr Pepper it was $15.00. What a rip off and called them and told them I didn’t get the patty sausage on my biscuit and she said that is all I charged you for was a cheese biscuit. I’m sure glad I did not get charged for the patty sausage. Never go there for breakfast or anything. Way over priced.

My husband and I always order the combination plate.The chicken shawarma is well seasoned and the rice, salad and gyros are always fresh and tasty. We have never been disappointed by the food, and crave it often because it’s so flavorful and filling. This is now our go to for Greek in Gonzales. We always call ahead and pick it up.

Hands down the best Chicken Shawarma I have had in Louisiana. Greek/ Lebanese is my go to cuisine when I don’t have easy access to Turkish or Indian dishes, and I have had plenty of it in several cities in Louisiana and a plethora of places in Houston.
Greek/Lebanese is so ubiquitous now, it’s hard for any one place to really standout in the crowd. Well, mark my word, Rendes has done it. It’s a simple menu, and every item on it is fantastic. The serving sizes are generous, the prices are very fair, and the staff is always friendly. I hope this place stays around because it really is a gem, especially for Gonzales.

It will be a 5 if Sam is still here. That’s him the Chef in the photo. It’s my opinion Sam is behind the well know Talk about how Delicious,popular & generous Renee’s Take out Food is. Cashier’s are friendly & fast. Well lit parking lot-easy to turn in at the side than off hwy 44. Towards the back of the store are some refrigerated items & fix it yourself food items.They stay stocked.

This is my store. Ya know what I mean? The one out of 3 the same distance from my house. The one that has the workers you would totally save in a zombie apocalypse. The grits in the morning slap, always get extra butter! The Greek in the back, phenomenal and affordable. 100% accepting of all people, refreshing in a smaller town. Oh and they got the fancy coke machine

I’m gonna miss my gyro salads, because I’m not coming back. I go in there looking for a vape pen. Find they carry a brand called “Pop”. Well, pop is a bust. They don’t work. THEY KNOW IT. They told me I should’ve tried it in the store before I drove 10min home with it. Then proceeded to make me try FOUR MORE of them, NONE of which worked. THEN, she tries to refuse me a refund, because, It’s our store policy, no refunds. “We got a BIG OLE SIGN!”
Well, I have a no stealing from me policy, so we sorted that out. Got my refund, AFTER I had to raise hell.
