We smoke all our meats anywhere from 8 to 16 hours plus all of our sauces and sides are made in house. **We are a food truck. Currently we operate at Rubber Gloves and pop up events around town. Fantastic food, and some of the best smoked food in Denton, The baked desserts and specials are super creative when they have them. The people inside are awesome, very friendly when they are available to talk, and the little skinny redhead girl is a great singer too. Atmosphere is actually a 3-4, but it’s because Render is a food truck and can’t really help passing trains honking or the parking lot of the property they are parked in; but the truck menu is easy to read, and they have little speakers around that play music, so 5-stars.

I’ve driven from Plano to Denton countless times just to have Renders because I crave the hot dogs and burgers so often. Everything is delicious, inexpensive and they’re always friendly!

Render has the best vegan burgers and hot dogs I’ve ever had in town (past and present), hands down. Their patties and dogs are tastefully smoked as well as the real meat ones. They have an amazing vegan-friendly aioli on the burgers that reminds me of the sadly now-defunct one by Wicked Kitchen. They also lots of topping options (including said aioli) for the veggie dogs. My omnivore friends also highly vouch for their many meat options, and many of them also quite enjoy the vegan options as well.
The occasional rotating special items like soups and many baked desserts (with often both omnivore and vegan options) are great as well.
The fact of them being located at the Rubber Gloves parking lot makes it even more convenient if you enjoy music and community events in Denton.

We got the Late Night Mixer which had brisket quesadilla, cheese sticks and onion rings. Everything was well seasoned and the ranch (homemade) is so amazing. Food is outstanding, highly recommend especially in between music sets!

Every time I come to Render I have the best experience! Dan is really friendly and I always get a hotdog here (I’m convinced it’s the best hot dog I’ve ever had). I also love that they have a rotating menu on the side so you always have an opportunity to try new things.

I love that they have veggie options. The vegan smoked dog was amazing, great toppings too. Went a second time for a pop-up menu and the vegan pho was delicious and comforting.

In a town where we’re losing local treasure shops to neglected menus, closures or predatory exploitation of staff from questionable owners, this food truck stands out as a family run local gem that I’ve come to love.
Their food fits perfectly with the shows for a fun adventure ESPECIALLY between bands. And it’s so obvious the owners care deeply about their truck. Some people here have said some questionable things but I just remember that we all know that one person who would give a sunset zero stars because a random cloud passed by. I’m glad they don’t return so we regulars that adore this place can be in peace.
The smokehouse burger, some beers and loud killer music… man that’s the best Denton night right there.

One of the best smoked turkey sandwiches I’ve ever had — incredibly flavorful and perfectly done! And don’t sleep on the curly fries, they’re amazing. I know most of the food trucks tend to hang around East Side in Denton, but this little detour is 100% worth it. While you’re in the area, check out Rubber Gloves for some great live music. Highly recommend!
