The dream of the Remnant is simple: to love our community and to revitalize the beautiful town of Arcadia, Indiana. Profits and donated tips are poured back into our community through projects. We want to breathe life into the community by providing both an exceptional coffee experience and a gathering space that can serve as a heartbeat of Arcadia.

What a gem! Situated in a gorgeous restored brick building there is something for everyone here: quiet working space, bookable rooms, and an upstairs play area for wee ones! My husband, son (8months) and I stopped in on our travels from New Zealand and were stoked to find a flat white on the menu. The coffee was good, the service warm, and the blueberry scone was delicious. My only suggestion for improvement would be implementing real crockery and cutlery instead of single use products — but that seems to be typical of most places we have visited here in the US so no shade intended to Remnant specifically!

I stopped here for the first time today. Overall, this place is amazing. Plenty of places to sit, work, talk, whatever! My drink was also really good, I went with the butterscotch latte. The one disappointment was the cookie I purchased. I didn’t realize it was gluten free. It might have been the driest chocolate chip cookie I have ever eaten in my life. Other than that, I enjoyed my time here and will return in the future.

This place is huge once you’re inside. Lots of room for events. Coffee is very good. Haven’t tried anything else yet. Good place for a coffee date – you will have room to yourselves to chat. Of note, the town itself is very “small towny” which could be a pro or a con depending on your preference.

Remnant is my favorite place to meet for coffee. Very large place, outlets throughout, tall ceilings, has a private conference room, and a quiet area. Lots of light and character. They have two sets of couches and a fireplace. Coffee is good, staff is lovely, service is great. Please stay in Arcadia forever!

We stopped through on our way to family and this place was awesome! There were so many areas to sit and relax as well as they had a really fun play area for younger kids upstairs. We ordered the cinnamon roll and it was flaky and warm – delicious. Sooo good! Really nice workers. We had a great visit.

What a nice find in Arcadia! Spacious, open and welcoming. I loved the layout when I got in. Each corner was beautifully decorated. Locally owned, the coffee shop was opened in COVID and other than serving coffee and baked items, there’s a massive space for rent to host parties and such. Walk upstairs and there’s a huge play area. I believe the charge is $250 for renting the space out, but fill the online form and you will get all the details from someone at the coffee shop. There’s a stack of games to play in one corner and a lovely V day pop up spot nestled just for all the love and gestures yesterday.
The location is right in Acadia downtown and coffee is reasonably priced,
Definitely check the place out, and plan your next group outing at Remnant!

Remnant is not only a great coffee shop, but it is a great concept. In addition to their delicious bakery items, coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, they are helping to breath life back into a small town in need. This coffee shop has plenty of space to work, free Wi-Fi, and great service. They support local artisans by selling a few select goods around the store too. The tea is freshly brewed, the coffee is delicious, and the chocolate milk was organic! The staff was quick, friendly, and efficient. Plus, you can purchase fresh flowers bouquets. If you are looking for a place to work quietly, then support this local coffee shop with a cause. We will definitely be back!

The best coffee shop! The drinks are so good. They have baked goodies, which include gluten and dairy free options! They also serve a limited lunch menu. It has such a welcoming atmosphere and the ladies there are so sweet. Also, the decor is on point! This is a new favorite place!
