I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. Although it was a little expensive, the service was good, the portions where not bad (specifically for the reuben), and the inside was very beautiful. They split the restaurant into a dining and high-top section with both rooms having a cabin aesthetic. If you’re feeling American food, I would check it out.

GREAT!!! Walked in dangerously close to close… incredibly generous bartender, Emma? I think…. perfect serve. Great steak, amazing fries. Only complaint would be the beef barley soup that was just beef broth? It was the end of the night so I assume the veggies had already been pilfered.

I had a fantastic experience here! I visited on Saturday, and even though it was after lunch, the server gave my husband and me excellent, attentive service. We kicked things off with Bloody Marys, which surpassed our expectations. For appetizers, we tried the mozzarella logs—delicious—and the onion soup, which was among the best I’ve ever had. For lunch, the Cobb salad was great, though the amount of dressing provided could have been more generous for the large portion. The burger, however, was spot-on. Overall, it was a great experience, and we’ll definitely be back soon!

I have come here 2 times in the past year and both times it was amazing. I will definitely be coming back with my family. The bathrooms were clean and spacious and the soap smelled amazing. And shout out to our waitress Pat. She was amazing one of the best waitresses i have had i a while. And the food was AMAZING and I recommend the burger it was juicy and cheesy and just pure amazing along with the French fries. 5 stars no doubt.

This is a beautiful restaurant inside and out. It was a nice day, so our party sat outside. There were eight of us. We ordered our drinks and food. Our drinks were brought out in a timely manner. About 10 minutes later, a second waitress came to take our order again. We told her that we already ordered. We waited quite awhile and we still didn’t have our food, so we asked about it. We were told only half of our food was ready and they were waiting on the rest. Instead of bringing out what was ready, they let that food sit. Ten or fifteen minutes later they started to bring some of the food out. One of us ordered Chicken Marsala, it was only lukewarm. He kept it. I ordered Ground Beef Nachos that upon inspection looked like they sat for awhile and were no longer warm. The cheese was hard and I couldn’t pull them apart. I asked for a manager who said he’d personally remake it. Meanwhile someone needed ketchup. She had to ask for it numerous times, and was almost done eating by the time she got it. Another one of us ordered salmon that came with mashed potatoes. The potatoes were cold. Those had to be remade. By the time she got her potatoes, I still hadn’t gotten my nachos. My friend who also ordered nachos got hers, they weren’t much better than mine, but the wait for food was so long, she kept them. Her husband had to ask three times for a soda refill, and when my nachos were delivered he received three sodas, by three different waitresses. I’m not sure what the issue was. They seemed to have plenty of wait staff. But no one seemed to know where they should be. The food was very good, and my nachos were great once they were fresh. The manager was apologetic, but we weren’t offered a discount or any type of coupon. He just told us he was in over his head. I think a small discount on the bill, or a coupon for an appetizer next time would have softened the blow of the bad service we got. The restaurant and ambiance there is incredible. I would like to try it again sometime, but with the way prices are these days, I don’t know if we’ll take the chance.

Driving back from Cedarburg on Sunday & decided to stop at Remington’s River Inn for lunch. So glad we did! The food was delicious. Recommend the warm pretzel with cheese or the wonton wrapped mozzarella sticks – both very good. The buffalo chicken wrap with house made ranch & fries was spot on with just the right amount of spice. The service was also excellent – friendly & very attentive. Seated at a table with a lovely view of the Milwaukee River (+ wildlife). Highly recommend stopping here for a weekend lunch. We will definitely be back.

We had the best dinner, starting with the bear claw appetizer, which was a delicious surprise with the topping on the mushrooms. The French onion soup was really delicious and rich with flavor. I had the Chicken Marsalis for dinner with egg noodles, and it absolutely did not disappoint. I’ll be back a hundred times. Did I mention our wonderful waitress.. she was such a delight and really enjoyed that we were enjoying our evening.

The food is really good here. I can highly recommend the burgers, grilled chicken, steak sandwich, and the chicken tenders. The restaurant is right on the river, and very pretty.

The food here is great! The meatloaf, Ruben, and Santa Fe wrap were wonderful! I would high recommend any one of them if you’re coming here. The waitstaff was very nice and quick to get our food out and get us seated. The prices were about average and the portions were very good as well. I would stop by and give them a try if you’re thinking about it. I’m sure I’ll be back here in the future!
