Wanted to like this spot but it didn’t quite pan out. It had a very nice community feeling inside, but as a cocktail spot, we just weren’t feeling it (we didn’t try the food).
Walking in the door there’s mixed messages – they lean heavy on the speakeasy/cocktails thing, but from the “jello shots” special on the board outside to the big screen TV in the middle of the bar area, the vibe is as much pub as it is prohibition.
The cocktail element also was frankly a dud on our visit. On a Saturday night they were out of sweet vermouth. For cocktails, that’s like a sandwich shop being out of mayo, but they said it in a very offhand way so?
The drinks we did get were off. An Aviation was quite maraschino heavy; a gin martini was vermouth forward. It’s neat that they have Pappi on the menu, and I was definitely tempted, but it was a little surprising to see half the menu roped off as “premium” cocktails ($25) just for using spirits like…. Hendricks?
You can see from my other reviews that I’m not just out dumping on local businesses. We showed up for a monthly date night, and if things had gone better we were ready to do a few drinks each – we love cocktails.
Unfortunately, between the vibe and execution, we were ready to leave after just one. These folks clearly have a cool idea – looking forward to giving it another try in a few months.

This is a review for their brunch. A nice addition to downtown Bremerton I ordered the Country Fried Steak dish which comes with two steaks, two eggs, and a solid side of potatoes. Coffee was classic diner coffee with free refills. Overall if you’re looking for an Americana brunch this is worth checking out.

Had perfect mix of food, atmosphere, and service. Just finished some christmas shopping and stopped in for a quick date night and was blessed with a steak that had a nice crisp outside with tender inside, broccoli that you coukd easily slide your fork through with a light buttery flavor. Had an amazing bartender/ waitress and even talked with the cook for a bit as he was getting off his shift. Overall will be back. Live in port orchard but definitely worth the drive. Thank you for an excellent experience.

We decided to check this place out on my birthday last Tuesday. We were enjoying the food, atmosphere and service. Halfway through our visit they started trivia night. My husband and I were looking forward to listening to the trivia night when they turned on the TV’s full blast and 6 regular customers played Jackbox trivia. This was not a trivia night. We ended up leaving without a dessert because it was so loud.

Took my family here for a late lunch early dinner fantastic customer service. We had different foods. The shrimp kebabs were wonderful the hamburgers de fish and chips. All of it was done. Well portions are good sized.

First time there, party of 6. Server was very pleasant and caring. Place looks cozy for drinks. We all had dinner. It was the steak night so 5 of us got the steak, one got the club sandwich. The steaks were more like a 8 oz cube of meat. All 5 steaks were cooked incorrectly and only one of us had the nerve to send it back. Meat was very tough. I got a to go box and brought the meat for my dog. Club sandwich was decent but way too much mayo which my wife scrapped off. So overall not a good experience. I live in this community and kills me to leave a bad review but OMG, this is not a charity. Businesses need to do better. I know it’s kitsap and away from civilization, but geez.
We are well travelled and have spent many years in restaurant mgmt. Please do better. Go to Texas roadhouse and taste even their cheap steak. Maybe even try eating your own food to see how poor it is. Update: I came back and read my review of this place after the unprofessional response by the owner and everything was stated correctly.

Oh my goodness! this food was absolutely amazing, definitely recommend this place. I got a non alcoholic beverage, I can’t remember what it was; something with mint in it but it was amazing too. The vibe was great. The peanut butter and jelly burger was so die for, I wouldn’t mind when I get buried or cremated, if that burger goes with me!

Yoooo, coming into speakeasy it has a nice calm and welcoming environment. Customer service was outstanding nothing took its time and there was a good amount of people in the pub for its size. Recommendation from waitress was not off she was very helpful picking the meal and cocktail. I ordered the salmon cakes and Rosemary Rush cocktail. Salmon cake and veggies was good, a little too much of the starch that was used I would’ve like a more taste of the salmon but over all still good . Highly recommend the Rosemary Rush cocktail just going to leave it at that; but to each its own tho. Recommend this place to anyone

Came here on a quiet Monday for my birthday with my husband and baby boy.
We ordered the brussel sprouts and poutine for appetizer and they were absolutely delicious! The brussel sprouts were crispy and bursting with flavor and the poutine was packed with flavor from the gravy and cheese.
My husband had an old fashioned and i ordered the practical peach mocktail and also tried the strawberry limeade mocktail as well and both were amazing !
I ordered the meatloaf with potatoes and fresh veggies and shared that with our baby and my husband ordered the spicy burger and both were delicious and just INCREDIBLE. Everything was seasoned, flavorful, fresh and hot.
We ordered the bread pudding for dessert and it was hot with fresh french vanilla ice cream that didn’t taste store bought. It tasted as if they made it themselves.
We will be back.
