The real deal – we went on a Friday night for the all you can eat steak and fries deal. Food kept coming out all night and was always consistent and freshly cooked. At times even too warm and we had to wait for it to cool down. They were also generous with the portions and even asked if we wanted more on our plate.
Atmosphere was also great a bit loud at times but expected for a Friday night with some big group bookings.
Service was fantastic waiters always on point asking if we wanted more as we finished, and food arriving quickly.

I got an reservation 2 Hours before we want to go and it was accepted so you don‘t actually have a big wait time. 🙂

Today we visited Relais de Paris in Malta without a reservation. We were informed that the restaurant was fully booked but that they would call us later if a table became available. We decided to wait and return, which we did.
The restaurant was extremely busy, and unfortunately it was very clear that there were not enough staff members to handle the volume of diners. The waiters were doing their best, but they were unable to keep up with service.
We ordered wine, which we had to remind the waiter about. Our starter arrived a salad with a side baguette but the baguette was cold. Given how busy the restaurant was, we chose not to complain at that stage. Shortly after, our main course arrived, and both the meat and the chips were cold not just warm, but genuinely cold. Considering how busy the kitchen was, this was surprising, as the food should not have had time to cool down before being served. Cold food should never leave the kitchen.
To be fair, the person who appeared to be the head waiter came by to check on us, which was appreciated given the circumstances. We informed him about the cold food, and he later returned with a replacement plate. However, by that point we had already started eating from the original plates, as we had been waiting for some time and were hungry.
The core issue here is staffing. If a restaurant does not have enough staff to properly manage the number of guests, it should not accept so many reservations. The staff cannot perform miracles, and the quality of both service and food inevitably suffers.
In addition, the noise level in the restaurant was a bit excessive. With so many people and limited staff, the environment became loud, making conversation difficult and further detracting from what should have been an enjoyable dining experience.
Overall, I do not recommend this restaurant. The food felt more like fast-food quality meat than a premium dining experience, and in my opinion, the popularity seems driven more by social media hype than by consistent quality or service.

It was a fun experience but I would not go back. The fries were SO oily that some fries were soggy. Meat was ok. Atmosphere was not that good, too light inside and the music did not fit in with the theme/atmosphere. Toilet was horrible. Not clean and the door to the toilet was such a hassle to close. Try in Paris instead, Malta can’t keep the same level

Was the single worst experience in any « Relais de Paris ». It doesnt deserve to be allowed the franchise name. I am just happy I was not there for Valentines.
First of all the food : NONE of it was like it should be. The meat couldnt be rare « because it’s pre cooked », Thats unless you go for the expensive version (42 EUR) . The Bread was hard. The salad tasteless
The dessert was a disgrace. They Call it « crêpes Suzette » … look at the picture.
Then the service : not once the server has indulged our Asks. Only said « thats how its done here ». The servers are absolutely not trained
The Price : 111€ for this !!!!
Also when i wanted to leave it took 15 minutes to retreive our jackets, as the hôte de salle was now obligated to do service as well.
DO not go there!

Relais de Paris offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere with attentive staff, tasteful décor, and enjoyable live music at just the right volume. The wine list is excellent and the food was of high quality.. the tuna tartare starter was delicious and the beef entercote (both the ribeye and fillet) steaks were cooked to perfection, paired with their signature sauce and crispy thin fries. Dessert was a mixed experience, as we didn’t enjoy the crêpe Suzette, but the lemon cheesecake more than made up for it. While the overall experience was very good, the limited menu and slightly high prices would likely keep us from returning.

We tried this restaurant in Malta and it immediately reminded us of Le Relais de l’Entrecôte, the same concept and the same kind of experience. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the steak and sauce, which were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Everything tasted fresh and high quality.
The service was outstanding: very professional, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish!!
Overall, it was a fantastic experience. Great food, great service, highly recommended!
