Fresh, simple, and absolutely delicious. Reilly Shellfish in Crail is as local as it gets—lobsters, crabs, and prawns straight from the sea. Grab a seat by the harbour wall, crack open a lobster claw, and soak in the view. One of those rare places that feels untouched and real.

Amazing fresh lobster cooked to order out of a small wooden shed. Really nice guys. Ridiculously cheap (£25 for a lobster that could have been straight out of a sci fi mobile).
And a note to local restaurants and residents: they’ll sell you the lobster poaching water at the end of the day if you ask nicely (it’s insane that local restaurants haven’t thought of this yet…)

Very yummy lobsters for 22£ both (the price it depends on the weight). We used one of the picnic tables that there are in the harbour and it was lovely. We will come back, for sure. We also want to try the dressed crab next time

This is a great place to get fresh dressed crab (if they have any) or lobster – need to go early.
It’s gone up in price quite a bit and wish that they would weigh the lobster in front of you. Which I thought would be common sense and give you transparency on the price. Would be nice to have butter with the lobsters as well.
A lobster will run around £25 – £30. It’s £30/lb!

Best tasting lobster with just lemon juice alone, tells how fresh they are. Two medium sized (500-600g) lobster cost us £34, priced at £30/kg. Also absolute big fan of the dressed crab, got extras to go just so we could use it as bread spread.

It was unique and tasty. Definitely fresh lobster. The service was fair, but the most limited menu I’ve ever encountered. I was surprised to be served on real dishes and flatware, with bottled condiments, since I stood in line to order and dined alfresco at a picnic table around the harbor. There were no side dishes available, ever. Just Lobster and crab, period. Oh I think they had soft drinks.

It is an amazing place to vizit and enjoy the blu see. The village is amazing I really loved the walk on the small roads and I admire the leattel beautiful houses thet are really nice mantain. The walk on the beach was pleasent and relaxing.
