I love good, hearty, southern food served in a New England style diner. The seating is cozy and lines move fast. The service is always top-notch. This is by far my favorite place to eat in Reidsville.

Looks like an old run down waffle house. But tastes like grandma’s homemade country cooking. Lots of butter, lots of flavor, and lots of customers. There was a long wait for our food but well worth it. Great food! Workstaff was very good and attentive.

Reid’s House Is the absolute best. One of the very few retro gems left. We alway stop in here on our way to Virginia. Great breakfast and great lunch specials. The owner is very friendly and makes sure you feel at home ! Make sure you stop by you won’t regret it.

You are immediately greeted with the aromas of sizzling bacon, strong coffee and the sweet buttery smell of waffles; followed by the clanking sounds of forks and knives on plates. Where coffee is poured in the thick ceramic cups with all the adds for local shops printed on them and the waitresses call you Shugg or Sweetie. Great local place to get that no cuts in the butter, sugar or grease food!

For as long as I can remember, I have tried biscuits and gravy at restaurants all across the US (usually only sharing a bite from someone elses plate because the dish wasnt worth risking). Finally I took a bite of Reids gravy & biscuits. It was love at first bite. Now I see what the fuss over gravy w/ biscuits is. AMAZING!!!! Other breakfasts are good too – if you are not from reidsville, it is worth the road trip. Service hasn’t missed a beat either.

Was kind of judging it by the cover at first but when i stepped in and got my gf and i some food i got to say its good if you’re hungry, so there’s that. For the quality of this town, this is a great place to go. I ordered spaghetti and it was pretty good!

If you enjoy classic American dinner style food this is your kind of place. In all honesty it doesn’t look like much has changed inside the place since the 70’s maybe earlier and it shows its age, but I honestly don’t see that as a problem. I’ve only had breakfast there once and it was good not amazing, but good enough to try some other breakfast foods next time. Their homemade coconut cream pie is however amazing and is really the reason for the 4 star rating. I honestly can’t wait to go buy another of their homemade pies to bring home and try.
