NOW on to the food!! So I traveled all around America and been to Jamaica ok the food is LEGIT no games. I got the ginger pineapple drink, 2 beef patties and the jerk wing meal – mannnn all of it was banging I wanted to go back the next day – it was a little pricey but they are in a plaza and in 2026 everything is high so I’m sure they need to increase prices to keep up with rent. The woman that took our order had the most friendly face – she was quiet but kind what more could you ask for. Oh and I knew the reviews were a lie bc there was never less than 2-3 people in there coming and going and they seem like locals/regulars – I will be back!!!!
My wife and I found Reggae’s Jamaican Grill while out shopping. We were originally craving Haitian food, but there weren’t any nearby, so we searched for a Jamaican spot and landed here—and I’m glad we did.
The restaurant has a clean, welcoming setup with a beautiful layout—honestly, if I ever opened a food place, this is exactly the vibe I’d want. There were customers inside, and the woman working the front was very kind, managing everything by herself. She took care of orders one at a time, and even though she was alone, she handled it gracefully.
We ordered jerk chicken with rice and peas, cabbage, and asked for oxtail sauce on the side. We took the food home to eat, and let me tell you—it was very good. The chicken was flavorful and had just the right amount of heat for me (I’m not a huge spice lover), while my wife—who enjoys spicy food—thought it was perfect. The cabbage was well-cooked and seasoned just right. The rice and peas were fine for me, but my wife thought they could’ve used a little more flavor. Still, paired with the oxtail sauce and chicken, everything came together nicely.
She also ordered fried dumplings. They were a bit firm—likely made earlier in the day—but the cook was thoughtful enough to offer her an extra one for free. That kind of service goes a long way.
The total came to around $33 for two full plates, which is very reasonable for the area and the portion sizes. We were happy, full, and satisfied when we finished eating.
Would definitely recommend Reggae’s Jamaican Grill if you’re in the area and want something flavorful, authentic, and reasonably priced. I’m American, my wife is Haitian, and we both truly enjoyed it.
Good price and generous portion . Too bad I live an hour from here , but whenever I’m in the area I’ll always stop
