FOOD REVIEW.
My family and I were on our way home from the beach and we decided to search to see what was around to eat. This place popped up so we decided to stop. We’re so glad we stop because this was the most flavorful food, I’ve had since relocating back to Florida. My husband tried their oxtail with peas and rice and said it was well flavored and there was actually meat on the oxtail lol. My children and I tried the fry dumplings, which was made to order and oh my goodness, the hint of cinnamon (maybe not cinnamon lol) but whatever the chef put in that fry dumpling is to die for. I also tried the jerk chicken and it’s like none other. The meat is not dry and is tender and full with good jerk flavor. I will definitely be taking that 30 minute drive, just to get a batch of fry dumplings.

LOCATION/CUSTOMER SERVICE
The placement/location of this food truck is in chill spot under the tree with great vibes from who I believe are the owners. There’s lots of parking and they even have a some chairs and a table set up if you want to eat right there. We will definitely be back.

**Absolutely Delicious & Authentically Jamaican!**

I can’t say enough good things about this place! From the moment I walked up, the rich aroma of spices let me know I was in for something special. The jerk chicken was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat, and the oxtail was fall-off-the-bone tender. The rice and peas, plantains, and festival were all cooked to perfection—just like how it’s done back home.

Everything tasted homemade and full of love, and the portions were generous too. Mr. and Mrs. McDonald was warm, welcoming, and clearly proud of the food served. You can really tell they care about authenticity and flavor.

If you’re craving real Jamaican food, this spot is a must-try. I’ll definitely be coming back!

My friend Aretha told me about this food truck. That whole week we had lunch from them. The goat curry, rice and peas, with pasta salad is so good! I couldn’t get enough of their pasta salad. The jerk chicken was perfect; the meat was tender and filled with flavors. Definitely one of the best jerk chickens I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot living in NYC). The breadfruit was so good too. Everything was super tasty! You must try it for yourself!

I decided to give Reggae Roadside Kitchen a go based on their reviews, I was not disappointed.

I was greeted by the owners and they were more than happy to guide me through the menu and answer any questions.

My order was prepared promptly. The food is excellent Fresh and you can taste the care taken in preparation.

I had the Oxtail meal with a large meat and cow foot soup. Delicious!

I hope they consider adding a few more tables to relax and eat. Perfect location for it.

Looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Escovitch Snapper with Rice & Peas, Plantain, and fried Breadfruit! Pineapple Ginger juice would top it off. What more could you ask for!?

The food is always a treasure and delight. I love the rotational menu that keeps me coming back to try more.

I am requesting Mackerel Rundown (salt mackerel cooked down in coconut milk) the next time you do breakfast. Great special addition to your menu.

Also – love the new location on Edwards Road (Fort Pierce). It’s safer for your customers and there is much potential at this spot.

Keep making your food with love and I will keep coming back for more. ❤️

We were driving to Orlando and decided to pull of the Highway and looked up Caribbean food. To our surprise we were directed to a food truck and decided to give it a try.

Wow !!! A Taste of Jamaica That Feels Like Home

If you’re searching for authentic Jamaican flavor in Fort Pierce, look no further than Reggae Roadside Kitchen.

This vibrant food truck delivers the real deal every dish is a masterclass in island comfort, prepared with care and bursting with the bold, soulful taste of Jamaica.

Whether it’s jerk chicken, curry goat, or a perfectly flaky patty, the food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. It’s my go-to spot for lunch on the move, and when it comes to catering family gatherings, they’re always my first choice. The quality never wavers, and the portions are generous enough to feed both belly and spirit.

But what truly sets Reggae Roadside Kitchen apart is Carmen. Her warm, welcoming energy adds a layer of joy to every visit. She doesn’t just serve food she serves love, laughter, and the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like family. Carmen puts the comfort in comfort food, and it shows in every bite.

We love it. And once you try it, you will too.

PS we also took some to go and gave it to our son and his girlfriend and they enjoyed it and plan to drive to Fort Pierce soon.
