The food was delicious, the jerk chicken was amazing it leaves a good taste in your mouth and a little zing around your lips. My husband had the oxtails and was in love with how it was made, their in house drinks are delicious and go perfectly with the meals. Would definitely recommend this place to my friends.

First time here. Curry goat was delicious. Well spiced and balanced flavors. Generous amounts of tender goat meat. Side of cabbage which was tasty. I like hotter but this was a good enough level of heat.

I’m married to a true yaardie so take my review with a pound of salt. We were completely satisfied with the portions and quality of food here. I had the jerk pork which was fatty and lean with the perfect balance of spice and flavor. My wife had the oxtail and as an oxtail snob, she was completely quiet with no notes. The real star was the coco bread and patty. When you approach the building, there is a picture of this combo on the window and I tried it. The coco bread came out fresh, hot and soft. The patty was flaky and crunchy with savory beef. I couldn’t recommend this more.

Finally, a good Jamaican spot in Denver. I’m from JA and it is very hard to find authentic Jamaican food out in Colorado. This place is great. Beef patties are flaky and their portions are very generous. Good customer service which admittedly made my wary of their authenticity (lol) but they were simply nice and friendly. My only comment is the rice & peas could be a little more moist and tastes like it’s been sitting in the pot a bit. Rum cake was also to die for omg! Only one as good as my mom’s. Will be back and would recommend.

After much anticipation, this location of Reggae Pot has finally opened. It has the same authentic food as the location on University. The curried goat was very good. It’s not blazingly hot, but is spicy. The cabbage and rice and peas (beans) are good. There is a selection of Jamaican sodas for drinks including a cream soda and ginger beer.
Service is still working out a few kinks, but was basically good. The space is nicely decorated with Jamaican colors and themes. Seating is either at tables or a counter. There is a password secured Wi-Fi.

Literally went twice in one day and 3 times in one week … I asked for extra sauce/juice over my white rice and I guess because I didn’t open my plate of food at the store i got home to see absolutely no sauce like not even under the chicken … I called the very next day soon they opened to see if o could buy the sauce he said “NO YOU SHOULDVE CHECKED YOUR FOOD BEFORE YOU LEFT” that was like a slap in the face … I was willing to buy whatever I needed just complete my meal however he said noting . Every time I’ve asked about “Curry potatoes” they said SOLD OUT but today he said NEVER THAT LOCATION … Food is decent but customer service is everything , I’ll never spend another dollar with them .

I was excited that another nearby location opened up and when they finally did I stopped by to dine in. Sadly, the experience was completely different from the Centennial location. First of all, the food was served in styrofoam containers while dining in and a glass of iced water was not offered. Secondly, the curry chicken was not the same, almost tasteless. Definitely not the same recipe. I would rather make the drive to the original Reggae Pot location in the future.

This was my second time visiting the Monaco location, and unfortunately, I’ve been disappointed both times. On my first visit, I ordered the oxtail dinner and received about four very small pieces that were also quite tough. I decided to give the place another try, and this time I ordered the mac and cheese and beef patties for lunch. The mac and cheese had a sour, almost rancid taste, and the patties tasted old and lacked the beef filling.
I’m not trying to bash a hardworking establishment, but the food feels overhyped. It’s “Colorado good,” meaning it stands out mostly because there’s a lack of truly great food options around not because it’s exceptional on its own. I genuinely wanted to like it more.
One small suggestion: adding a bell to the front door or counter could help. I waited about 5–7 minutes before anyone came out from the back, only to receive food that didn’t meet expectations. Hopefully things improve, because the potential is there.

Update. I came back 10/18/25, this time I arrived at 630 so they were good and open. The oxtails were ok and the rice and peas, but the potato salad was tangy. My fiance’s curry chicken had way too much salt on it and his Mac and cheese was not good. Not to mention, we didn’t have equal portions as I got much more food than my partners. The other location on University is much better in my opinion, I really enjoyed that locations food. I won’t be returning to this one and to think we drove an hour to get there. Disappointed We were also told that if we dined in then we would have to eat out to-go boxes as they had no dishes. So we took our food and ate at home.

I highly recommend this place if you are looking for delicious Jamaican food. Everything tastes great and is flavorful and the employee who helped us was very friendly. My husband and I went to Jamaica for our honeymoon last year and eating here brings back happy memories.
