Uh where do I begin, this place is now called “Nuf Niceness” or at least that is where the location leads. Very misleading. The staff inside were not the nicest and they also have no menu so if you aren’t used to getting Jamaican food, you might be a bit confused when it comes to ordering here .. The food was really good tho! I got a small jerk chicken with rice and peas and cabbage. My only complaint about the actual food is that the cabbage was mid .. like it was rushed or something. Anyways, I would not come back here unfortunately

I couldn’t find it, called, and was then told that the name now is NUFF NICENESS (it’s so easy to change or recreate a Google maps profile).
As a first-time visitor to the area the google photos are what drew me here. I love Caribbean eateries with steam tables (I like to see the food). Yet upon entering the greeting and atmosphere was drab. As I was rushed through ordering I kept reminding her that it was my first time. A lot of times when I say that the server/chef lights up, becomes more patient, ask if I have questions, show a little more excitement, etc…. just blahhh. However, I pushed thru and spent $102+. I avoided the unrecognizable items (as they needed to be stirred or changed out completely). My MIL loved the mannish water. The escovitch whole snapper and kingfish were perfect; the rice and peas, boiled provisions & cabbage were also magnificent!

I searched this area for an authentic Jamaican restaurant and we were not disappointed with Reggae pon the Grille. I had some developmental chefs with me researching Caribbean cuisine. We literally ordered everything on the menu. The atmosphere and bar area was unassuming and they played the music too loud, but the food was outstanding. Co-owners Nadine and her chef-husband were a delight. A first generation immigrant, she sat down with us for over an hour and explained every dish in detail, showed us prep techniques, and shared a few family secrets. It’s hard for me to suggest a particular dish. We enjoyed all. If you’re in this area, support this family run business. You won’t be disappointed.

I visited Florida from Michigan and wanted my favorite authentic Caribbean breakfast Aki and salt fish. After calling literally 9 different restaurants that was totally out of Aki I finally found exactly what I was looking for at this establishment. Not only did they have it but the food tasted amazing and the service was first class. I drove 28 minutes from Parkland FL to North Lauderdale and it was well worth it. I also had a chance to meet the owner and was very impressed by his enthusiasm when speaking about providing authentic Jamaican cuisine for the community in a fun and safe atmosphere. I was also impressed that they have a fully stocked bar. If you’re in the area stop in and check them out. You will not be disappointed.

Went there today(Sunday). Not crowded. Ample space. Their lunch specials are very reasonable. Good portions, the food is not oily, flavourful, the server asks you if you want gravy and where. She gave me just enough gravey on my meat, because I am not a gravy lover. She was nice. You can pay with your credit card. The stew chicken and callaloo rice was lovely (even the slices of ginger with the chicken was good) and the guava and pineapple drink was great as well. Im surprised no sugar was added to the drink but cudos. The place was clean (I didnt go to the bathroom so I cant share anything on that. They seem to have live entertainment, but I’m unsure of the dates. It is a nice place for lunch. They do serve breakfast abd dinner. I highly recommend this place. They are also beside taste rite if you love patties.

Someone from TikTok recommended this spot and it wasn’t a good recommendation honestly. They were empty for a reason. I didn’t even see one customer when I walked in. Maybe I went on the wrong day. Food was not good at all. Oxtails were burnt.

My husband just bought home a medium oxtail for $11 from this restaurant that has 4 little piece of bone. A MEDIUM plate. I’m upset that this place thought it was acceptable to do this and even more upset that my husband bought the food. We will no longer continue to support.
