Went for lunch on July 29. Although it was Louisiana hot, we decided to sit outside. With the large fans and breeze blowing off the lake, we were very comfortable. We had drinks and an appetizer while waiting for our food. Which came out in a reasonable amount of time. The food was hot and freshly prepared. Everything we ordered was seasoned perfectly and had great flavor. Although it may seem a little on the pricey side, you get what you pay for. Great atmosphere, friendly and attentive service, delicious food, and a wonderful view of the lake. I would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area to stop by and enjoy.

I literally get the same thing ever time ! Three separate times I’ve got charged three separate prices for the fried chicken salads & it is never correct! Idea I’m paying for extra then there shod be extra! I specifically ask for extra croutons. I made sure to go into the restraint this time to make sure they got the order right & added the extra condiments respirated. I was told they put three hand fulls of croutons & well it’s not even close ! I’m very dissatisfied!

Normally I do not give reviews, but unfortunately my family and I did not receive ANY service from this restaurant besides being seated to our table. The restaurant has a beautiful scenery of the lake sitting outdoors and beautiful indoor seating as well. Upon arrival, my family were seated outside and hostess was very nice. But then it went downhill from there. Our waiter/waitress never waited on us even for drinks. After waiting 15 minutes, I had gone inside with my toddler daughter and told the hostess we were still waiting for our server. The hostess said that she told whoever that we were out there waiting and supposedly she told them again. While she was saying this, another hostess I am guessing was listening and knew of this. So then I had gone back out to the table to wait again. Another 15 minutes went by and STILL NOBODY waiting on my family and I. We recently moved to the town and heard great things about them, but apparently the servers wanted to continue to ignore us. So we got up and left. As we were walking out, the other hostess that was listening earlier asked if there was anything she could do but all we told her was no even though she knew that we had waited long and were ignored. Sadly, the only time we were acknowledged when we were walking out. Most likely our first and definitely LAST time going.

I’ve had the pleasures of eating here a few times. My favorite always has been fried fish so I knew they had new owners because the last time My Husband and I had went it was horrible. Let me tell you I don’t know who’s doing the frying honey give him a raise her raise whoever it is excellent it is wonderful we drive from Winnie Texas every weekend..

Great food and even better atmosphere. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. The steaks are juicy, the seafood entrees taste fresh. This is me and my wife’s go-to spot when we want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. There is a quaint park and over water boardwalk mere walking distance from the restaurant.
