Staying in Crowne Plaza got us a couple of breakfast vouchers & I redeemed them today for a lazy Sunday.

The spread is decent, combined with good service & some great coffee.

They have an assorted cereal bar, some sweet bread spreads & jams. There was some assorted bread & toaster as well.

I asked for some poached eggs, which were wonderful. Since there was no menu, did not know if they do a Benedict, maybe next time I will find out.

On the buffet was scrambled eggs, grilled mushrooms, baked beans, bacon & turkey sausages.

There were a counter with oats & toppings, which I avoided.

There were some fresh fruit & flavoured yogurt.

Overall an ok place for breakfast, since it was complimentary cannot comment on the value for money.

Ate here twice last time I was in Seattle. Food is fine, drinks are fine, and the space is fine. My issue is that there is an automatic 18 or 20% gratuity added to the bill, which by itself i am ok with. The servers generally were good and i am happy to tip at least that much. However, both times they pushed me for additional gratuity. Putting the electronic payment device on the tip screen. The first day i fell for it, and ended up tippng $30 on a $60 meal. The second day I asked the server, who immediately got flustered and tried to make up a story about why the gratuity was not enough and I should still tip more. The hotel was mobbed with tourists; I can’t imagine how many people they scam. It’s extremely dishonest and not the way a restaurant should be run. Walk down the street for better food and not to be taken advantage of.

The service is good, and my food was out in a timely manner. I’ve stayed here for conferences a few times now and eaten breakfast and dinner here.

Food is good, could be better, but in my opinion is over priced. $22 for the breakfast buffet or similar pricing for ordering off the menu is a little jarring. Some of the off menu breakfast items just feel like re-packaged ingredients you’d get from the buffet anyway.

All in all not bad, but prices should either be reduced or food quality should be improved.

Atmosphere pleasant aside from the rude customer who thinks everyone around him needs to hear his phone conversation.
Service is SLOW…they look at you but never come to the table. No one has a smile. Later they blame it on a new computer system. No an excuse for poor attitude.
Update..finally got food. Everything good and fresh. Ordered from menue. Didn’t try the buffet.

Most awful restaurant experience. Avoid at all costs. Staff had no idea how to take orders or run cash register. Bills were mixed up throughout. Customers were complaining non-stop. We had to wait for 45 minutes to get food. Had to eat without another drink or water as staff were so confused no one got much of anything. Had to ask for bill three times and when it came it wasn’t my bill. Also, they automatically add a “service fee” to the bill which equates to a 20 percent tip. The bartender kept making excuses that he was the only one there, which was not true. Again, avoid this place!

Decent breakfast for hotel breakfast standards but after we sat down and started eating they brought out the check for over $80 for 4 people. There is no signage about any pricing or costs so we assumed it was complimentary since we had paid for our room. The staff was helpful and friendly and didn’t charge us when we mentioned our concern. I would have rather gone to literally any other breakfast place nearby for at least hot food.

We went for dessert and the service was great! We arrived right after the kitchen closed but the bartender went out of her way to ask the kitchen if we could order dessert and they were more than willing. The pie was delicious but it was over $40 for just 4 desserts. The menu is very limited as well and the bar closes at 10. We were not wanting to leave the hotel late at night so this bar was our only option in addition to there not being any bars to just enjoy a drink nearby.

Breakfast was subpar for a “4 Star” hotel. Scrambled eggs were bland and tasted fake. Breads tasted old. Unfortunate for a $100+ charge for 3 kids and 2 adults. Woo ooo old recommend going elsewhere for your morning meal.

There were no signs indicating that the limited buffet was 16$ a person, we got our check after we sat down to start eating. Why they wouldn’t include a limited buffet in the price of what you pay per night for your hotel room is beyond me. The food is also basic hotel fair, nothing fancy at all. Powdered eggs, no house made pastries, boxed cereal, ect. Not ideal, or worth the price you pay.
The server was nice and gracious as a plus though.

This review is for the breakfast. If you got this buffet for free you would be happy with it. For 23 bucks(30 total) it is ridiculous. Staff wasn’t bad but it’s a Buffett I served myself. Mediocre warm food at best, and the classic continental breakfast things which were fine, but 30 dollars. And no you can’t really order off the menu, the coffee is 5 dollars if you order off the menu making any menu option more than the buffet if you want a drink. Basically they know their customers are expensing meals and they are going for as much as possible.
