Wife and absolutely loved everything about our experience here. We had lobster corn dogs, hush puppies, side salad to start. Amazing!!
We both had filets, spaghetti squash, fries and asparagus. Holy cow, one of the best meals we have had traveling this country.
Service was absolutely on point, everything was spectacular.

My friend and I went to Refinery last night and sat upstairs at the bar. The first amazing experience was when we pulled up to park. My friend has handicap which is right next to valet. The valet guy was so cute and kind. He Jumped to open our doors and help us. We walked in and hostesses were just as brilliant… proceed upstairs to the ocean view dining room, and sat at the bar. The view out the wall of windows of the ocean is amazing. We sat at the bar, and had the best bartender name is Eric .Eric introduced us to all of his crew, and they were all just smiles and fun. Eric proceeded to give us a show, which is always so much fun to watch a bartender make a drink . Watch this short video of Eric making an amazing espresso martini. I highly recommend the food as well. Let me tell you the French onion soup and the fresh baked bread fabulous prices are great. Food is wonderful entertainment of bounds highly highly recommend this place and ask for Eric the entertaining bartender and tell him Mary sent you.

This was one of the strangest restaurant experiences I’ve had. Upstairs was uncomfortably quiet to the point where I could hear everyone else’s conversations, which felt oddly pretentious. The bartender was pleasant enough, but I was handed a food menu on an iPad, which felt unnecessary. There is also no happy hour upstairs. I ordered one drink there and to be fair it was actually very good.

I moved downstairs, where the bar was much more lively with louder music and more people. This is where happy hour actually exists, though it was harder to get the bartender’s attention because it was busier. Strangely, the food menu was exactly the same as upstairs, just printed on paper instead of an iPad, with the only difference being happy hour pricing for drinks and a few food items.

Between the mismatched vibes and duplicate menus, the place felt disjointed rather than intentionally designed.

The food came out great and so did both cocktails (both upstairs and downstairs).

Very good restaurant that we found while visiting Jacksonville. The service from the bar to the lovely upstairs restaurant overlooking the ocean was fabulous. Eric, our server was terrific as was the food. I had the surf and turf – a filet with a perfectly cooked large lobster tail. My husband enjoyed the salmon crusted with pistachio and pesto. The spaghetti squash under it was the best I’ve ever tasted. It was our anniversary and they gave us dessert. We had the peach Melba cake, omg delicious! We will definitely go back and highly recommend it.

Enjoyed a nice dinner with friends. The service was great and atmosphere nice. We reserved upstairs seating. It was dark so we were unable to enjoy the oceanview. The mocktails were tasty and they had the best bread I have enjoyed recently. The lobster corn dog was also delicious. I definitely recommend. The fresh catch was ok. It was undercooked for my liking. I should have clarified how cooked when ordered but also would have been nice if asked. It was also under seasoned. All parties in my group enjoyed their meal, even our vegan friend was pleased. Will visit again.

I enjoyed everything about this location the welcoming/cozy/ beautiful atmosphere and the beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean! The food was absolutely DELICIOUS! The drinks were tasty! The overall service and experience were excellent! I would love to give a big thank you to our amazing waiter/server name Micheal! He made our experience one to remember. He gave us great suggestions on food and drink options. He was very knowledgeable of everything! He was nice, friendly, very funny, had great energy and just simply awesome at his job! Thanks to him and the delicious food and great service we will definitely be returning to this location!!!

One thing I did not like which involved one of the staff members at this location was the fact that when we ordered our bottle of Dom Périgon, our server went to put in the order for our bottle and was TOLD by another staff member to come back and ask us if we were sure we wanted to get the bottle and if we knew the price of the bottle because it was “supposedly” the last one they had.
I did not like this because I felt as if they only told him to ask us that because they probably figured we couldn’t afford it being that we are some young black people who had just ordered a mixed drink and a double shot of Hennessy with our food. So that person just automatically assumed we couldn’t afford that type of bottle which really blew my mind for a sec being that I was just talking to my husband about getting another bottle to open while we were there right before Michael came back to the table being that he said they got plenty bottles and being that the one we order was requested to be in fridge in chill until we leave.
And so to that person I would like to say this, Please don’t ever assume that people like us would ever waist time making dinner reservations at any restaurant, sit and view menus at the dinner table and place an order wit the menu in hand just to not be able to afford to pay for anything that is ordered because you almost caused us to leave and you caused is to not even want to order anymore bottles to avoid any more questioning.

To the Refinery Management team I highly request that you please teach employees to not judge a book by its cover because the ones they think not gona spend a lot will always be the ones spending the most or a lot and supporting your business in the long run! And can your team also give Michael a big thank you for having great energy with us and making us comfortable enough to want to stay after that award moment of questioning my bottle order choice.

A must visit for a special dinner out.

Visiting the area, we booked The Refinery for a birthday dinner. It was perfect. The aambience is sophisticated, classy, and comfortable. The service was outstanding. And the food was exquisite. We enjoyed a shrimp cocktail and the seafood spread for apps, and recommend both. Two of us tried the Mussels as an entree and were blown away. For a dish that I’ve had a million times, these were far and away the best, with a broth that demanded a spoon to enjoy all on its own. The peach melba cobbler dessert, again, was phenomenal.

Book a table. Ask for a window seat on the second floor. And enjoy!

Wanted something besides pub or beach food. Looking for dressed up
grownup food! Easy walk from our hotel. Got lucky it wasn’t crowded. Downstairs much more casual but we did the upstairs dining room. Menu isn’t huge but it works and food was great. Salads and bread are extra charge. Ya get a small veggie and a starch with meal tho. It served our purpose and the duck confit & risotto was amazing!!

I celebrated my birthday here with my family. The service was good, our waitress was very nice and had great knowledge of the menu and suggestions.
My food was ok. I ordered yhe scallops and pineapple risotto. The scallops were cooked to perfection. The risotto wasnt bad, it was just ok.
The dirty martini with blue cheese olives was superb.
We ordered the seafood dip as an appetizer, it was good, not great.
My hubby had the chicken carbonara… the noodles with the pesto was so fresh, I enjoyed the taste, the chicken was so salty and over seasoned.
My children had the tender and grill cheese kids meal with fries, they loved it.
The view is beautiful, but probably more enjoyable in the summer months when the days are longer. Our reservation was at 5, so we did get a little time to enjoy the view. Once the sun went down it was just darkness. The inside ambiance was very nice so that made up for it.
I like that they also have an elevator to access the upper level. My dad is a disabled Vet, and that helped a lot.
All in all its was a good time and I’m happy I was able to experience it.
IF I did go back. Id try the bar location downstairs.
