My fiancé suprised me for Valentine’s Day at my job to bring me here for my lunch break which is 30 minutes. To try and get ahead of the time crunch I tried ordering over the phone. The woman Lorraine had such a horrible attitude with me. She told me she could understand my order because two people were talking on the phone. I told her I was sorry it’s because we are deciding while driving there due to my lunch break and she said “that’s why you figure it out before you call” I hung up. We went into the establishment and confronted the bartender and Lorraine. He stated he spoke with her but her attitude remained. She came over to apologize and implied I was too. Sensitive and then TUGGED ON MY BRAID! We got the burger to go it was ordered as medium but when we got back to my place of work we found it to be well done. I’ve been going here since I was a kid, but that’s all done now. The food and customer service are going down fast there sorry to say.

We will not be going back. While the food was good, the waitress had to have been the rudest we’ve ever encountered. She barked out her responses to our questions, (Are there refills on sodas? May we please have some milk for our coffee and tea?), grabbed the empty milk pitcher out of my hand, rolled her eyes, and challenged the need for decaf tea. She acted like we were quite an annoyance for having the audacity to show up for a meal! Her attitude was actually hostile. There are plenty of other places to get a good burger; Reese’s unfortunately is off the list.

Reeses for lunch…11/28/23

Had the burger, with blue cheese, medium rare, cooked to how I like it..very juicy…

Crispy fries were great, just way I like em

It’s a very good burger..

It’s in MY top 10-15, no higher…I know people rate this as one of the best around, which it is, but my thinking is there are better burgers out there..I would never diminish, or talk negative about it, it’s very good.

I would definitely order it again

Bartender was great…Old school…My favorite kind

Friendly Irish Pub and eatery close to main street. We enjoyed lunch there but looking at menu seemed dinner would be more of a bargain. Service excellent. Plenty of Irish decorations and long lasting traditions in the longest running restaurant in Patchogue

Dined In with friends or family my previous two times here . Went solo today because I been wanting to go back . Sitting at the bar I realized how much of a local bar this is . The bartender knew everyone who came in. I believe his name was joe or John I can’t remember. Really nice guy & checks up on you regularly & gives you the best experience. I wouldn’t say I’m a local since I live 10-15 mins west but I plan on coming here more often because I’ve enjoyed all 3 experiences here . Okay onto the food .. 1900 burger doesn’t miss. The bacon is so crispy & compliments the delicious burger Perfectly. You have the option of Swiss cheddar or American to which I go with American . Each bite is super tasty. The fries are great as well, not your average shoestring fries like you’re used to but still great . Also had a French onion soup which was great as well. My only complaint is the coleslaw . It’s too watery for my liking . Feels like it’s drowning in it. Other than that I love this place a lot . Great vibes .

This is a really nice restaurant. They offer a nice selection of entrees. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff was also very nice. We will definitely be going back there.

I love Reese’s so much! Not only are they the best Irish restaurant in Patchogue, but their pastrami on rye is so delicious that I can eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Whether you get rye bread toasted or not, it’s a complete W no matter what.

The food was delicious and atmosphere authentic. We had the chili, Shepherds Pie, and a hot, open-faced Ruben sandwich. The only complaint is that the Martini I got was fairly small, but otherwise tasty.

I used to like this place but I don’t know what happened. It’s like the people don’t want to be there. The older waitress was probably the rudest server I’ve ever experienced. My toddler spilled lemonade on herself and the waitress was mad I couldn’t give her an order at that very second. She said “some of us can walk and chew gum at the same time.” What a self important bag of bones. This place supposedly used to be a funeral home. Seems it hasn’t changed much, they just serve food now. Pretty sure the waitress was a past customer. Add on that the food prices have increased to a laughably high amount and the food was either raw hamburger or dry pastrami, and you have a recipe for disaster. It’s a shame that it has slid so far.

I’ve been going to this place for many years with my mom. The atmosphere is cute and real. Food is tasty and beer is good. Overall I would recommend stopping in.
