The food here is incredible, the dough is light and fluffy and has tons of flavor, the quality of everything is top notch. The skillet pizza is better than most of the popular spots in Chicago, (it blows Giordano’s out of the water) and for a fraction of the price. I cannot get over how good the dough is. Get the garlic “nots” and you won’t be sorry. Barbecue is amazing as well.
The people here complaining about the price blow my mind. If you want cheap worthless food, go to dominoes or some other chain. This is legitimate high quality food. It’s more expensive for a reason, and even then it isn’t unaffordable. This is the kind of place you’d normally have to go into a big city to find, but it’s right here in Union City.
On top of the food, the workers and owner are wonderful and friendly, the restaurant itself is clean and cozy.
Ignore the fools who wouldn’t know a good pizza if it hit them in the face, this place is awesome. This is good food made by somebody who knows what they’re doing.

Last night my husband and I decided to stop at Redwood Pizza for the first time. The servers were very attentive and super polite. The food was so delicious! The pizza was perfect and the garlic knots were spot-on! We will definitely make this a regular stop for pizza.

Woman in front of me in line was told to “go sit down”. She was probably going to ask for something. Rude service. One lady walked out and said “good luck, first and last time here”. I walked in and saw that they must of been shorthanded with no communication at all. I wanted a pizza but I overheard it would take 45 minutes to make and many people in front of me. So I settled for ice cream for dinner. While I waited 10 minutes for the lady behind the counter to do “other stuff” before taking my order I was in there for 35 minutes, left with ice cream and no, I do not plan on going back. The ice cream is just like store bought ice cream. Not many flavors to choose from. As I walked out, people were sitting at empty tables frustrated that no one has waited on them. If you want better service, go elsewhere.

Place is never open in days they say they are open. We have tried to come up here many times during business hours. Very upsetting that Union City is so small and not a lot of options for food. Yet this place has “open hours” but never open when we have tried.. very upset

We ordered 2 large pepperoni pizzas last night. Not sure if something has changed in the last 6 months, but we were very disappointed. The crust was rubbery and hard to chew.

today will be the first and last time I go to Redwood. the woman re- asked about my order 3 times and still got it wrong. when I went back in to ask about the incorrect item All I got was rude attitude. they obviously need someone who can take correct orders. the prices were ridiculously high and the pizza is no better then frozen. thanks but no thanks.
