Early Sunday around 730. I am visiting family in the area and craving a bagel as i wake up. I see this place online and pull the trigger. Speedy great service and great food. I got the bagel egg sandwich on the seedy bagel and it was great. Just what I needed.

This a take out only bagel place, they’ve have a really good selection of bagel sandwiches. The bagels are prepared quickly and really well. Can get breakfast or lunch fixed by a friendly staff. Great for a quick take out meal

The whole review all hinges on one poor moment of customer service. I went early, and the store was still closed even though it is scheduled to be open. I decide to wait to the top of the hour, and good news, somebody turns up and opens up. I figure they won’t have bagels yet, but decided to try anyway. I ask if they’re serving bagels and are they fresh this morning. I’m told yes. I order and they were completely stale. Clearly from the previous morning.
I could have forgiven opening late, but dishonesty is unforgiveable. I won’t be back.
Alternatives are limited in Novato. You can get fresh bagels in Safeway, but if you can, then head down to San Rafael, and there’s a place called bagel street in Terra Linda. Much, much better.
