I will say my burger was a tad on the dry side. But the mashed potatoes were amazing! Also love the atmosphere and design! It felt like fine dining, and the staff were fantastic. Would definitely come again!
I am a local with a trained taste for good food and I always recommend RedWater to friends and family as I’m a repeat customer.
The scallops had no flavor with an incredible amount of sause/soup. Crab cakes were delicious. Haddock was tasty!
The atmosphere was charming.
” How are youse doing so far”! Excellent service!
Yesterday I went and I had a salad with a peanut dressing and a piece of maple cheesecake. Everything was fantastic, from the wait person who looked after us to the beautiful presentation of our lunch. I would definitely go again specifically for the salad. If you were looking for a beautiful atmosphere this is it.
P.S. The chocolate cake was absolutely delicious
Edit: Our server Catherine was exceptional and I cannot thank her enough
Food quality varies a bit. Some dishes are great and very tasty. Others are questionable. The veggie risotto was just odd, felt like there were way too many different ingredients competing for the front flavour (Olives won and I personally did not like that it overpowered the taste of everything else). The wonton nachos were good at first, but cooled quickly, leaving a sticky greasy mess that didn’t scratch the itch for nachos. Sauteed mushroom side with steak were dry and flavorless, could have used any seasoning or sauce to improve. The red pepper dip and pita chips were great!
Cocktails are nice, excellent variety of drinks to choose from and a very large wine tasting menu will please those looking for a relaxed table service experience.
Overall a nice place for a few drinks but maybe be cautious about the food choices.
The food itself was good, but the sausage was very salty. Enough that my six year old son noticed it. He loved the French toast.
Prices are high, which while not abnormal in a hotel like this, is worth noting with so many other places nearby.
Meals were executed well, serving sizes of our food were standard to large. Wonton nachos – huge! Order of mussels – huge!
Wine list was extensive, nice cocktail list as well. Lacking in mocktails. Unfortunate.
Great place to visit in Charlottetown if you’re looking for locally sourced food in a moody atmosphere.
