We both love the Atmosphere. We ordered the Open-Faced Roast Beef Platter. It was so much food we shared it for $2.00 more. So worth it !! And we took home the rest because we couldn’t eat it all. There was enough to have for dinner the next night. This was so so delicious. The coffee is fantastic too. We definitely will be back. Service is phenomenal. The two women that work there are efficient and quick. It was a great dinning experience.

Every staff member we encountered was very friendly in accommodating. Recommendation from The daily special which was the breakfast casserole. Was a great suggestion. Even mentioned that it was suitable for sharing and I will confirm it is very large portions. Everything we had was very good. Looking forward to return trips to the area so we can stop in again.

If you are near Rt 200 in Hernando, Fl you definitely need to stop at Red’s. The portions are huge and delicious. Hubby had the open faced roast beef sandwich that had to have had a pound of meat on it. It was at least 5″ tall and so tender. First time in 43yrs that he had to get a to go box. He got it with mashed potatoes and a side salad with their homemade ranch dressing that was thick and creamy. Yum. I had the Shrimp Po Boy on a spinach wrap with feta, tomatoes, lettuce and their spicy sauce, and again huge portion brought half home, and it was awesome. We got one of their big, 5″×5″ cinnamon rolls to bring home after a little taste test of course. It was about an hours drive from home but well worth the drive. They are also know for the platter size pancakes. They are open for breakfast and lunch and close at 2pm.

First time here. We loved this place. The front staff and servers were fantastic and all had fun personalities. All four of us had a great menu item. Will definitely be back.

Went out for an enjoyable motorcycle ride and stopped here for lunch. Ordered the Ruben sandwich, with fries, and coleslaw. The meat was piled high and the taste was very good. The service was great, the prices were fair, and the restaurant was down home, with an old Florida like atmosphere. We sat outside on the deck and had a very nice lunch. When in the area I would definitely stop in again.

Fun Little greasy spoon with a bayou swamp feel. Country atmosphere and a lively service vibe. The wait was long on a Sunday. Food portions are enormous, tasty home made cooking but missing the level of quality. Price was high for breakfast ($60, 2 people with tip).
