Family owned very friendly. Red’s Bar B Que was very busy mind you we got there right at lunch time Thursday, which was the plan. But for as busy as it was we got our food fast and very fresh. Thursday is cheese burger special. Best cheese burger I have had in north Texas. I will be back for the ribs next. On the second visit we did not get the ribs it was burger day, and they were just as yummy as the first. We did try the fried Turkey app. Oh my they are so good I couldn’t stop eating them, please try them.

Just Wow is what I will say at first was a little underwhelmed by the location. Which other than a small signage outside and the word of mouth from a billard hall appx a mile up the road.
So I decided to try it out and was pleasantly surprised to say the least. Unlike most brisket I have tried on Texas this was tender, moist and practically fell apart inside my mouth. But the best meat on my platter was the smoked turkey which sent shivers down my spine.
As for the sides I would suggest the Reds fries which are one of a kind.

Loved it! Small BBQ shop on N. Saginaw Blvd. with indoor and outdoor seating.
We had a sliced brisket sandwich and jalapeno cheese link sandwich with fried orca and red fries as sides.
It was all good. The brisket was moist and tasty; especially the bits with the outer layer. The jalapeno sandwich was also very good with a nice side of the house BBQ sauce that was tangy and just bit of sweet just like I like it. Finally the Red Fries were a real treat. Along with the potato fries they throw some onion and sliced jalapeno in the fryer with them and they came out great.
They have two locations the one on N. Saginaw and one on Boat Club. Check them out when you can.

Omg hands down the best around this part of town! So happy to have them here! The food is delicious! This burger basket is to die, the meat is juicy & the way the cheese melts on the meat makes this a great burger! Being only $5.00 on Thursdays makes this a tasty buy! Stop buy & enjoy a different variety of food that you’ll love!

Brisket, Jalapeño Sausage, Mac & Cheese, and Onion Rings. The staff was great and provided the definition of customer service. I did find the brisket lacking any features that would make is a Texas brisket. No real pepper taste or salt. The BBQ sauce carried the meal in my opinion. I did find the sides tasty but it was missing the real star of the show. I’m not a believer in giving anything below a four star review to a mom & pop but I would look at other BBQ joints in the area

Probably the worst BBQ I’ve had in my lifetime. We couldn’t get over the over abundance of salt on EVERYTHING. We were blowing salt off of every bite, and it was still too salty. Portion size on the chopped barbecue sandwiches was laughable. Even the smoked sausage was salted! How this placed achieved a 4.7 rating before we ate here is beyond me. Took a half hour to get our food with a mostly empty dining room.

Red’s provided catering for our production crew in the Stockyards. Excellent brisket, ribs and turkey! Banana Pudding was FABULOUS!!! Amy was easy to work with and very hospitable!

Absolutely delicious! We were working in the area and googled BBQ near me and this place came up. We are so glad we stopped by. We both had the chicken fried steak with mash potatoes and Mac and cheese. Everything was perfectly seasoned!
The lady who took our order was so sweet and did not hesitate to welcome us as soon as we walked in, she was very helpful with helping us choose our first meal with them. I love that they have daily specials.
We will definitely be visiting more now that we know about this place.
