I picked up a DoorDash order. The order wasn’t ready. No problem. While I waited for the food. I observed how unsanitary they were. The cashier was handling cashier duties then proceeds to cook food with no gloves I believe she realized I was watching and then she put on gloves I’ll leave it at that,could say a lot more. This is not a place I would recommend to anyone.

The restaurant is very dirty the cooking area is nasty the food was horrible I will never go back there they need to be shut down for clean up ASAP …Then I asked for a cup of water they wanna charge me a dollar for water after i just purchased a sandwich how petty is that?? Great food. Never open! It’s Friday and the are closed before I get home at 4:00 PM! I just drive right past even when they are open. Good people, sad situation when it comes to historical Coney Island hours.

Good food but the service could have been a lot better. Waitress seemed very bothered that she had to take our order. Also seemed a little rude sometimes with answers to our questions. If I didn’t have my two young grandchildren with me, I would have set her straight. But I’m trying to help them learn how to respect elders. Maybe she had no patience with childen, but she was not warm or friendly. No smile the whole time she waited on us.

The waitress wasn’t friendly at all. It was kind of smoky inside. Their ventilation and a/c wasn’t working, so they had a couple of big fans to blow the smoke out the back door.

A year ago this place was great but in the last month or so they have a lot of new staff and they always seem to mess up our orders now.
The lady taking orders with the facial piercings seems very uninterested in being there and never seems to smile, we asked for well done fries over the phone and a cheese burger with cheese only and come to find the burger had pickles and mayo on it, I saw the ticket hanging and she didn’t bother to write down only cheese, instead she chose to wrote no tomato no lettuce, same with the fries she didn’t write well done.
That’s 3 times now in the past month or so that something has been wrong with our order and we haven’t noticed until it was too late.
Probably wont be ordering here much any more unless they get some better staff taking the orders and looking interested in their job.

Ordered biscuits and gravy… Not quite sure what i got! Gravy like water and soaked into biscuits leaving them mush. Not even edible.
