If you’re deciding between here and Crab’s Claw on Atlantic Beach, choose here every time!
After my previous night and experience at the Crab’s Claw on Atlantic Beach, I thought there wouldn’t be good seafood around this area. I came in very skeptical of the food, but left pleasantly surprised.
My server was Tristan and he did an amazing job, not only that but he even gave me a complimentary cup of clam chowder after sharing my story of crab and lobster bisque with no crab and lobster at the Crab’s Claw, and oh my goodness, it was the absolute best clam chowder I have ever had in my life, it was really, really good. I could have ate a bowl of that by itself and been happy, but I had already ordered.
I ordered the stuffed Mahi, and I’m gonna tell you right now, it ranks up there with the best Mahi I have ever had, it might just top the list on that one too, definitely worth every penny!
If I could have done things differently, I would have eaten at RedFish, both nights in a row. The wild rice is seasoned well and was a pleasant surprise as well, most places just boil wild rice in water and call it good, and it’s bland, not RedFish, it was definitely boiled in stock of some sort, and it was seasoned well. The zucchini was good too, but I wouldn’t call it spectacular like the Chowder and Mahi. The zucchini was just properly cooked and seasoned well, your average zucchini.
Over all I still give this place 5 stars on Service, atmosphere, and quality of food!!! 10 out of 10, I do recommend!!

Excellent dining option on the Morehead City Waterfront. Nice atmosphere, Excellent server. Shrimp and grits were delicious although I would recommend more grits. The grits got lost in the Cajun gravy. Excellent seasoning. And the most beautiful salad! Beautiful and flavorful!

Absolutely loved our dinner tonight. There was no wait for our family of five. Tristan, our waiter stayed on top of orders, making sure our drinks never ran out and was very friendly. Our table ordered the crab dip, calamari, stuffed grouper, crab stuffed mahi, and the seafood plate and all were fantastic!! We will definitely be back!

Our waitress was extremely nice and attentive! We ate outside, so the breeze and atmosphere were great! Now onto the food! I ordered the stuffed mahi and it came with wild rice and fried zucchini. The mahi was great, but there was way too much sauce on it, I had to scrape it off. The grilled zucchini was delicious! The wild rice, would’ve been good, but too spicy for me!
My husband order the mixed grill, he said the chicken was way too smoky, didn’t taste good at all! The mashed potatoes were ok!
My brother in law and sister ordered the seared salmon, which had way too much sauce, the grits were good!
The clam chowder was not good, too much stuff and not creamy! The crab dip was good, had the same sauce in the stuffed mahi, though!
My niece got the fried fish bites basket and that was better than most of our meals! She really enjoyed it! The fries were good and the fish bites tasted like fish sticks!
Overall, the drinks were delicious, but we wish the food was better! The price, way too expensive!

Every chance we get to have date night Redfish Grill is the place! The Chicken Parm is the absolute best and to finish it off with a slice of cheesecake. I highly recommend stopping in for an amazing meal and great atmosphere!

My husband loves seafood me not so much. I had the chicken parmesan. It was okay not much seasoning Can I taste like noodles with open canned tomatoes. But I enjoy the chicken it was seasoned well with lots of cheese. I waitress was very nice she found me a piece of bread because it did not come with bread At first she said I had to order a basket of bread but they were kind enough to butter bun it was so good it was better than the entrée the atmosphere was really good because we were outside

We grabbed seats at the bar, and our bartender was on it. Drinks were spot on and our glasses never hit empty. Food came out in what felt like record time (10 minutes tops).
The crab dip? I could’ve eaten a bucket of it. Shrimp was actually jumbo, sides were delicious, and my super picky husband couldn’t stop raving about his calamari — said it was the best he’s had in a long time.
Loved the vibe, too. Chill, not rushed, a good mix of locals and out-of-towners. We’ll 100% be back. Highly recommend

I had the swordfish & shrimp special this evening & my husband had the shrimp & grits. Both were delicious & the swordfish was about as fresh as it gets and the shrimp were plump & tasty. We are already talking about coming back for another dinner next time we come to town to visit family. The service was quick and our waiter was awesome.
