This was the best meal I’ve had all month. The ambiance is beautiful. The loaded mac and cheese was incredible. I added pulled chicken, amazing! My server, Nicole was so kind and attentive. The buffalo cauliflower wings were super good too! The portions are large enough to share. I got the “All that razz” cocktail and it was beautiful as well as delicious. They put a delicious sauce on the Mac and cheese that makes all the flavors marry together perfectly. Thank you RedEye!

I was pleasantly surprised by this spot! I read reviews prior to making the decision to check this spot out. For the most part, people seemed to enjoy it so I was convinced I should check it out.

The restaurant is located inside of the Hilton airport Hotel. There is a secure parking lot that requires you to pull a ticket when you enter. The restaurant will validate the parking ticket for you !

When I walked in I was greeted by a staff member and seated immediately. Shortly after I was seated my wait staff came over and introduced herself. She took my drink order and said she would allow me time to look over the menu.

I asked my wait staff her thoughts on the Mac and cheese. I am picky about eating Mac and cheese from places. Most don’t know how to make real Mac & cheese ( if you know what I mean)! She told me it was pretty solid. –
As such I ordered the following:

Crab bisque
Smoked chicken wing plate served with two sides: Mac & cheeses and asparagus were my picks!

The crab bisque did take a long time to come out. It was so delayed that my main course came out shortly after the soup. It was not ideal, but I made it work!

The crab bisque was solid. I would order it again. The wing plate also exceeded my expectations! I was impressed with the mac and cheese. The asparagus were large, which was concerning to me! Like how did they get so big? Steroids? Nonetheless, they were cooked to perfection!

I did get the banana pudding to go- this was the only item I would not order again! It was basic and I only took a few bites and ended up trashing it .

Overall I would reconned this spot! Service was spot on- and for a hotel restaurant the food is pretty good!

had the pleasure of dining (ordered takeout so that I could eat and relax in my room) at Red Eye Southern Kitchen while on a work trip, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! The food was absolutely amazing from start to finish. I ordered the Impossible Chop with macaroni and cheese and collard greens, and every bite was perfection. As someone who doesn’t eat red meat but loves Impossible dishes, I was blown away—this was one of the best Impossible entrées I’ve ever had. The chop was flavorful and satisfying, the collard greens had the perfect smoky depth, and the mac and cheese was rich, cheesy, and comforting.

The service was just as incredible as the food. Terry and Miranda were both top-notch—friendly, welcoming, and so accommodating. Their hospitality made me feel right at home, and you simply don’t find service like this everywhere.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is elevated and swanky, yet still comfortable—perfect for both business trips and personal outings. I honestly can’t wait to come back again and again, even outside of work, just to enjoy this gem of a restaurant.

If you’re anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and stop by Red Eye Southern Kitchen. You won’t be disappointed! 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

I had the 3 slider sampler with Mac & cheese. The food was great especially the Mac & cheese! Prices are higher than on their website menu. The bartender had her hands full but did great despite being understaffed and doing the work of two!

This is a very nice open concept restaurant/bar with a lounge feel. It’s near Delta headquarters and the Atlanta airport, so there were business people there, and likely others who had layovers. We went on a Wednesday night and there was a very good piano player there who played contemporary music. He was very good and lively, and management should continue to have him there. Our waitress was very, very nice. I can’t remember her name, but it was on a Wednesday evening at around 7 PM and she was African-American with a braid updo. The food was very good. I had crab cake and Brussels sprouts. We were impressed. We will return. Parking is validated.

We stopped in on a particularly icy and snowy day in Atlanta, and the staff’s hospitality was a total highlight. The food was absolutely delicious—served hot, savory, and full of flavor.
A special shout-out to Terry, the manager, who was incredibly kind, warming, and accommodating. Her personality made the experience feel very welcoming despite the weather outside. Excellent food and even better service—don’t miss this spot while you’re in the area!”

I ordered the shrimp and grit and I thoroughly enjoyed the meal, but my friend order the salmon with sweet potato and she gave me a taste of the sweet potato and I ordered some to go. The atmosphere was modern and stylish, our waitress was amazing and it wasn’t overly crowded.

We enjoyed ourselves and I highly recommend it.

So while staying at this Hotel, I decided to try the restaurant. I sat at the bar where I meet the best bartender I ever came across. The restaurant was busy and she had the composure and aura of a Goddess.Her uniform up to her locs were very professional. Her smile made my day even better. Her name is Iris. Every restaurant needs a manager/owner like her.
