Our visit tonight was 2 longtime couples friends celebrating a birthday. We were greeted by a young gentleman who had a great smile, we were seated in the corner, with full view of this magnificent building.
This was our first visit! ~ it was a great opportunity for us to celebrate with delicious food and conversation!

Wish there was a separate button for alcohol. My drinks were amazing And would return just for those . The soup was good, But very thick It’s like pudding . Our appetizer was Average and came out at room temperature., Our dessert The bread pudding was amazingz. Our entrée sucked, It was ice cold sauce . My salad sucked. There was so much dressing on it. I couldn’t even see the bottom of the plate. I don’t know how I could even remotely enjoy it.. See photos. Puppy wear your server will charge you wrong for your bill. Look it over. We ordered a small salad and was charged for an entrée, etc.. There was two extra charges for lemonade on there. As well, we only asked what kind of lemonade aid had and did not like the brand so we never ordered it but was charged for it.

We’ve been to Redemption 3 times now and it just keeps getting better. The drinks are always fantastic— we typically get the Spicy Pineapple jalapeño and Mezcal on the rocks.
Cody, our server/bartender is always accommodating and answers/ solves all of my foodie requests.
Tonight was special though. We ordered all of my top appetizers as our meal and had the best dinner ever. Tonight we had their steak bruschetta with goat cheese spread, steak bites, pesto deep fried walleye bites and fries with their burger truffle sauce (thanks Cody). If you’ve never had walleye bites with truffle sauce you’re missing out.

We had an amazing experience at Redemption this evening. We stopped for appetizers and drinks. Jill- our server- was so attentive and friendly. Our bartender, Paul, recommended an upcoming drink- the French 75. Amazing!
Nachos? Yes please! And the firecracker shrimp was delicious! And to top it off, the owners stopped by our table to see how our night was.

We had a reservation at the end of the dinner shift AND we were late. They graciously sat us to a table and informed us about how fortunate we were to be seated. And how everyone working had also worked their newer brunch shift, so they were all wanting to be done with the evening. I absolutely understood and we tried to place quick meals that wouldn’t cause the kitchen too much trouble. Our server was truly great, even after working such a long hard day, as I do hope was reflected in the tip. The food was beautiful, as we were all eating our first meal of the day. Yes, we also know about hard days. I decided to snap some photos because I had planned to give a stellar review if nothing else, just to boost staff morale, but there was one issue that I can’t let pass by and unfortunately that was with a request for no coleslaw on the BBQ pork sandwich. I explained to the server that I cannot digest it. I told her, “I wish I could. I can’t digest it at all.” I also ordered a side of mac and cheese because I can’t digest potatoes or sweet potatoes. I didn’t feel that I needed to go into detail, just stated that it’s a dietary restriction and figured my husband would enjoy the sweet potato waffle fries in my stead. Now, I know that I should have said something at the time, but they had had such a long day, I absolutely did not want to add to it by complaining, but the kitchen put cole slaw on and scraped it off, doing a poor job at removing it. I have a medical condition. I can’t eat cole slaw because I have a malfunctioning colostomy. I did not think that I needed to divulge this in order to keep from having food served to me like this. I debated on saying anything, even after realizing that it wasn’t just a few stray pieces that someone can reasonably expect to find if some just accidentally dropped on the sandwich. I had planned to just clean it up at home where the staff wouldn’t see and they wouldn’t feel like they needed to go through more bother on my part. Shoot, I almost didn’t say anything when they forgot my mac and cheese, but I just wanted to make sure we weren’t charged for it if we didn’t receive it.
After taking the remainder of the sandwich apart I realized just how much cole slaw they left behind and sadly, gave it to my dogs. I’ve been through way too many years of agony to want to deal with any more over some soggy cabbage .
My husband and daughter both enjoyed their food very much!

The food was out of this world good! They ran out of the halibut because it was a new item on the menu. but the owner came out with an idea of a substitution to try and it was amazing! The fact that he took the time to come out and talk to us was super great for customer service. Our waitress was amazing, she always made sure we had full drinks and that our food was as we wanted-she even took a family photo of us all for us! All the way from the friendly welcome at the front door to the end of the night was terrific, we were very impressed and will be back many times!

The reviews brought us here after exploring a nearby State Park. Nice old building, well done inside, bright and open. Shared a wedge salad, New York Strip steak, loaded potato, and bacon Brussels sprouts. Everything was prepared nicely and tasted great. If you’re in town – recommend stopping here.

First visit here, had the parmesan walleye dinner. The walleye was very good, it was served with mashed red potatoes and parmesan broccoli. All was very well done and very tasty! The place is in an old building and the look is very cool. Server was very good and friendly. We plan to be back again soon!
