Came in tonight to celebrate our parents 40th anniversary! Every single person from the time we walked in to the bartender to the server/wait staff were top notch! Our server was knowledgeable and made the night enjoyable (his name started with an M)
Drinks were delicious.
We got the beet salad, wedge salad, side of mashed, side spinach, calamari/ shrimp appetizers/sides- all unbelievable!
My ribeye was cooked perfectly and the sauce was 10/10! Fries were delicious too.
We ended with dessert- the creme brûlée was unreal.
We will 100% come back for another special occasion. Thank you to everyone who made our night so special!

Our experience here was amazing. The drinks the food the staff was all amazing. The oysters were the best we have ever had. So clean and beautiful. We loved that they had valet because parking in rochester can be a nightmare. Marshall was so knowledgeable and attentive. Im still thinking about the beet salad. We didn’t love the poppyseed cake but we did get it to go and it was a warmed dish. We didn’t have a reservation on a stormy Wednesday night and they were still able to seat us. We waited at the bar until our table was ready. I can not say enough good things about the staff. They were so friendly , attentive and knew so much about the establishment. The vibes were on point and it felt very intimate being a small cozy space . I can not wait to return.

We went here for date night and loved it. Really wonderful atmosphere, romantic and cozy. The food was amazing. We both had the NY strip and it was cooked perfectly. They also have a very nice wine list as well. Would definitely recommend!

My husband and I were both impressed with Redd Wood. The atmosphere, service, and food was top notch. This was no surprise as we classify the restaurant Redd as one of our top local favorites. Sharing the same talented Michelin star chef, Redd Wood has more of a French inspired menu. I highly recommend you enjoy an evening of delicious, unique, creative plates here.

Absolutely excellent experience at Redd Wood. Every dish was delicious! Hard to decide the favorite, but the ribeye was one of the best we’ve ever had — and the veal was also delicious. We loved the vibe and service here, and will definitely be back again! The sticky date pudding dessert also shouldn’t be missed.

A very moody & unique atmosphere really sets the scene! Top notch wine list, excellent hospitality from the maître d’ & very professional service from Jessica & Derek. The duck liver mousse special was really tasty – would love to see it on the main menu! Steaks were super well-seasoned & cooked perfectly. Our whole party loved the Redd Wood martini – the herb oil on top was an excellent addition to the classic gin martini. Thanks for a great experience – we will be back!

The food was exceptional, service impeccable and the atmosphere very comfortable. Prices are reasonable considering the preparation and presentation. One issue, my wife did not like her drink and sent it back, she was charged for the 1st and 2nd drink. Probably not a good marketing approach, makes me NOT want to come back. Marshall you never would have gotten the $60 tip if I had noticed it, enjoy!
