First-timers! Good food and clean, but watch the pricing.
We finally stopped in after hearing their radio ad. We were specifically drawn in by the deal for a free daiquiri with a combo purchase and the prices mentioned on air. Unfortunately, when we got there, the prices didn’t match what was advertised. The staff mentioned that this “happens often,” which was disappointing—the business should really either update their ads or honor the prices they’re broadcasting.
Despite the pricing confusion, we decided to stay and order, and we weren’t disappointed by the meal itself. Our family tried:
Chicken Combo & Fish Combo: Both were solid.
Nugget Combos: The kids enjoyed these.
Sides: The mashed potatoes, red beans, and fried okra were all tasty.
Pro Tip: The restrooms were notably clean, which is always a huge plus in my book!
Verdict: Even though the advertisement was misleading, the food was good enough that I’ll be back to try something else. Just be prepared to pay a little more than what you hear on the radio!

The lady taking the order was not understanding what I wanted. So I wound up getting most of what I ordered. As I wanted 4 breasts and 4 wings but wound up with 4 breasts and 2 wings. Also I have come here several times and was never charged an upcharge for breasts but this lady charged me $2.00 per breast as an upcharge. The lady’s attitude is severely lacking for customer service. She just about shut the dining room down by putting the chairs up on the tables to prevent anyone who wanted to come in from sitting. And this was accomplished at 7:55 pm. Really felt like my business was not appreciated. So we won’t come here when she is behind the counter taking orders we will go elsewhere. We live right down the street and the food is tasty and hot. Also the garbage can was turned upside down to prevent customers from depositing their trash and sh picked up the tea by 8:00 pm and the store does not close until 9:00 pm.

This was a daiquiri shop as well , normally their daiquiris are fire !!!! But ever since they lost their liquor license and came back after getting it back . The daiquiris are HORRIBLE! Bring the old daiquiri team back ! This new person don’t know what he’s doing . The daiquiris are bitter , sour , seem spoiled , or any and everything is being thrown in the cup ! 0/10 !!!!! Never again ! I used to love their daiquiris but now I’ll never spend my money again!!

Man, that Redbird chicken is nice. I like it. I’d give it a solid 9.5 out of 10. The chicken was nice and juicy, the fries were good, and overall everything we had was great. My tenders? I’d rate those a 9.8 out of 10.
I saw some reviews complaining about slow service and lack of seasoning on the chicken or seafood, but from what we got, the food was well seasoned, service was reasonably quick, and everything came out hot and fresh. Another review said the food was cold — that wasn’t the case for me.
Also, the music was a nice touch, giving the place a chill, welcoming vibe that made the whole experience better.
Plus, they won Best Chick Award of 2023 at the festival, which was well deserved in my opinion.
It’s cooked right and tastes great. I will definitely be back.

Sadly, I was very disappointed. This chicken did not live up to the hype. It was dried, greasy, and flavorless. The appearance is not good. It’s fried without a batter or flour. Some people may prefer that, but I wouldn’t except it if was free.

The DAIQUIRIS are horrible. Please don’t ever get a daiquiri from there. I use to always get the daiquiris but since someone else took over the recipes for the daiquiris is horrible. They taste sour, bitter, and spoiled.
