Food was good and they were open with no wait after a late concert at Heinz Hall. The fish sandwich was HUGE. I’d likely try other places before going here again but I also wouldn’t have a problem eating here again.

Fun spot to grab some eats, a brew and watch sports. Plenty of seating on two floors but it does get packed on a Steelers game day. Food, especially the dry rub wings, are excellent, service is friendly and attentive and it has everything you want in an American sports bar.

We were downtown for October fest. And had our australian shepherd with us, so needed somewhere with outside seating. Came across this place, was nice, staff friendly and food was amazing! Absolutely one of the best Rubens

Our entire experience was amazing! The host greeted us immediately and was all smiles. We decided to eat upstairs at the bar and was met-again, with amazing service from the bartender. The food was to die for and they had an awesome draft list available and huge Tv’s to watch the game on. We will definitely visit again on our next Pittsburgh trip.

We wandered in after a ballgame for a drink and a bite. It was a good choice or maybe just good luck. The place was hopping with the post-game crowd. Our server was in training but provided excellent service and was quite candid when asked about the menu and food portions. (We almost ordered too much food). I had the cod sandwich with chips. It was enormous and cooked and seasoned perfectly. The fries were very good too. My friend had what she described as the best club sandwich she’s ever had. Also enormous and loaded with fresh ingredients. A couple of drinks each and we took the check which was very reasonable. Will return next time I’m in town.

The food here was absolutely great, and our server Hannah was friendly, attentive, and checked us out when we needed something.

However, it was too late for us to realize that our nachos should’ve had at least beef toppings, but ours wasn’t served with any kind of meat. (You get to choose what kind of meat based on their menu).

I don’t remember if we were asked what meat topping we’d like, but we still ate it anyway because it was really good.

I ordered the mac and cheese and a burger. The mac was okay but bland. I ordered the burger medium but they served it well done and it was dry and tasted like meat loaf. The fries were good.
When they check came they had added an extra entre I didn’t order. A mistake? Check your bill. The server did take it off after I asked about it.

Steps from our hotel (Renaissance Pittsburgh Hotel) is Red Beards. Two levels of fun, food, drinks and a cool atmosphere. The wings & tempura vegetables were delicious. Special thanks to the bartenders – Seth & Danielle

When my husband and I couldn’t get into another restaurant, we looked for a different place who wasn’t full before our show. We stumbled upon Redbeards and figured we would give them a try. Best decision! We weren’t in the mood for anything particular and were sat right away. The hostess was very pleasant and welcoming and cleaned up a table for us in no time. I got the turkey wrap with fries (amazing smoky taste and the fry season was top notch) and my husband got the Steak meal. *I can’t remember what it was called exactly* The steak was just a little over cooked *med-well, instead of med* but he said it was still juicy. The baked potato was the size of your face and veggies for his sides! He definitely enjoyed it all! Our waitress was very nice, sorry I don’t remember her name but she was blonde, and very polite! There was also a very nice gentleman who was also with the hostess, he had glasses, who was also checked on us and said goodnight when we left. The whole place was clean, bathroom too, and everyone we met was kind. I will definitely keep this place on my radar for whenever I’m Downtown for a show!! Keep up the good work Redbeard!
