Well. Drinks weren’t bad, until a fly wanted a swim in it.
Calamari was chewy. Flavor not bad.
5oz steak. Tender and juicy. Yam was also perfection.
Pasta. Sauce and flavor great. Too chewy though.
Had a gift card so didn’t feel so bad about it. Would I go back. Yeah for the steak.

I’m a tough crowd when it comes to steak, but if I wanna go out and spend money on a nice dinner and good atmosphere and good people amazing food this is hands down the best This is the place I go to because I do love my Loki cut and also shout out to Kelly!!! . She is amazing absolute rockstar when it comes to service and personality and she did remember us from last time and I just feel like home lol love you Kelly!

As a first-time visitor, I wasn’t prepared for the culinary journey that awaited. The star of the evening? It was a long trip from Sayreville. It was worth it! Steak was sizzling hot & cooked a perfect MR. Baker was fresh, fluffy & piping hot. Onion Rings & corn fritters were good. Bread rolls were also delicious.

Awesome food, especially the steaks! The service is great. The whole place runs like a well oiled machine. The seating is pretty tight and it’s reservations only, including the bar. The atmosphere is nice, dimly lit and cozy. It can be a little bit loud though. Overall it’s an excellent choice for s great meal.

The steaks were flavorful, tender, and cooked to perfection. Service was great and seasonal cocktails were delicious. I highly recommend the app specials, dirty mashed potatoes with gravy, and filet mignon (pictured here). The homemade steak sauce is amazing! Can’t wait to go back!

Back to the 50’s decor. Loud – really loud. Seating was tight. My 10 oz. Filet Mignon was delicious and prepared perfectly. Sides were OK. Cocktails were very good with a generous pour. Service was very good. Would I go back – no. But they’ve been in business forever so that tells you something!

First time to this well renowned establishment. Terrific drinks, terrific beer menu, epic steaks! Opened with Mussels, stuffed clams and calamari. All very good, though the calamari was on the stiff side. The rolls brought out were splendid and worked as edible sponges while soaking up the sauce from the mussels. For steak entree I had the New York strip, Alpha cut (16 oz), medium (NY strips range from Wolf Cub [8 oz, $27] to Red Wolfe [48 oz, $115]. Came out almost perfect in the cooking and with a glob of garlic butter (extra $) on top, tasted delicious. Paired with a side of dirty mashed n gravy along with a Chimay, I was more than content by the end of the meal. Our waitress was spot on, and younger support staff are learning. Reservations for 1-5 people are “limited” to 90 minutes and for 6+, 2 hours, but we weren’t rushed to leave despite running 15 late. The place is small and spots are practically always accounted for, so needless to say the atmosphere has a party feel. Can’t wait to come back!
