If flights get busy around lunch time and management can predict that’s when the restaurant /bar will be the busiest, then why not schedule more people or not have shift change/breaks during that time? Service started out great when the older lady was waiting on me at the bar counter. A younger woman was also working. The older woman disappeared and the younger woman was left alone. Although I’m sure she was doing her best to handle the lunch rush, it was overwhelming for her and she wasn’t doing a great job —so much so that when I asked for my check she wasn’t able to check me out because she still had like 6 drinks to make. I flagged down another employee and asked if they could ring me out because my flight was about to board, and this apparently upset the woman who was making the drinks.
The food was terrible. The Southwest egg rolls were burnt to hell. I’m Black and the egg rolls are darker than me. Also packaged condiments for dine-in service is insane. I only left a $5 tip because I get to expense the meal for work travel and I’m sure the ladies have to tip pool. I didn’t want the older lady suffering and not receiving any money on account of the younger woman’s lack of customer service and dexterity, and poor attitude. I really wanted to leave nothing.
Unfortunately, I have to come to Sioux Falls once a quarter for work. Next time I’ll just get lunch on the way to the airport.

These might be the best BBQ nachos I have ever tasted. The portion size was generous, and they were delicious. The coffee was acceptable.

Food and service are fantastic at Red Stone Pizza Co. in the Sioux Falls Airport. They have a variety of local craft beers which are great to sample. This is the perfect atmosphere to hang out in while waiting for your flight! – Great work Red Stone Pizza!
