Red Stix beautifully captures the sights, smells and tastes of Asian street food. Our menu is a culmination of Chef Uno’s childhood memories in Thailand and her wide-ranging travels. The finishing flourish of each hand-crafted bowl or sandwich is a Red Stix — our signature yakitori skewer. Each Red Stix is threaded with morsels of chicken, pork, or steak, bathed in our umami-rich, silky marinade and grilled over binchotan charcoal. Our grill-masters vigorously fan them until the coals hiss, flames spark, smoke puffs and the meat quickly cooks to juicy, charred deliciousness. The Red Stix are nestled atop the bowls or sandwiches that our guests customize with layers of fresh vegetables, pickled daikon, and herbs.

Every single item is worth trying – loved every bite! The Laotian-Thai-Asian fusion flavors were unique and memorable. Favorite sauces were the chipotle aioli and habanero thai. Their signature stix are grilled over the highest quality charcoal in the world – binchotan – and you can definitely taste the quality!

Awesome food. Hubby and I had the 2 piece charsiu pork belly bao bun for a starter. We also ordered the adult Capri Sun I got the pineapple margarita he got the spiked cherry limemade. We also ordered the 5 stix sampler w/ dipping sauces. For our entree I got katsu ramen and he chose the crackling fried rice. Everything was delicious. For dessert banana egg roll dusted w/ powder sugar served w/ chocolate syrup which was more like a small spring roll was okay but not something I’ll get again. Now if they swap out the chocolate w/ caramel n add sum nuts then I will definitely get it.

Great atmosphere, got way overcharged during happy hour. Came in for happy hour, was told it was happy hour, ordered from happy hour menu, was charged full price. Food did not look even close to what was on the menu. Shrimp Rangoon was burned all over (black and burned). BBQ Buns were undercooked, white and pasty like they were microwaved. BBQ Buns had no color (they are pictured browned like they hit a saute pan or hot oven for some time) and the BBQ Buns contained half the amount of filling as what is shown on the menu. Been here a few times for happy hour because it is close and convenient. Going to try something else next time. Live and learn!

The food is excellent. It comes quickly after you order, priced fairly, and has a decent amount of variety. The vibes in the restaurant are outstanding as well. However, the place is tiny. There are 3 tables with maybe 15-20 chairs total in air-conditioned space. There is about double that outside in a west facing enclosed space that has fans. When I took my 3 kids under 5 here for a dinner in July, I wish I had known that. Having said that I still give it 5 stars bc the food really is that good. In the future we will get it to go instead (or come without our small children).

We have been looking for a good Thai/Asian food place since we moved back to Dallas. I think we found it! This place was amazing. We ordered take out, and they had it ready even before the time they told us so I just walked in and picked it up. Everything was nice and hot when we got home. We also love that they give you the food in a reusable bag.
