Mango Margarita Slushies are my new favorite drink! Chips, salsa, and guacamole all above average. We like the green salsa better than their red. Ordered a variety of tacos, veggie burritos, and the veggie bowl to go. Everyone enjoyed every bite. Great service & fun Fremont location. Definitely going back… especially for those Mango Margarita Slushies!

Quirky variety of tasty tacos. They aren’t going for pure authenticity, but fusion tacos, and they deliver. They also have nice drinks.

Not sure how the night scene is, as I’ve only been there at lunch and happy hour.

Red Star Taco Bar is where Fremont goes when it wants to eat like it just won the lottery but still only paid happy hour prices. The menu reads like a dare—Sriracha Honey Tofu, Bang Bang Cauliflower, Philly Cheesesteak, Fried Chicken, and the infamous “Mom’s” and “Dad’s” tacos—so naturally we ordered them all. Drinks? A roasted pineapple margarita, watermelon slushie, and a mocktail cheekily named Until Proven Guilty. It’s chaos, it’s indulgent, it’s exactly Fremont.

This is a 21 and over taco bar. It beat my expectations 100%. Was thinking bar fare and not even close. Had the Baja taco with a mango habanero margarita and it was delicious. Had a few cocktails after dinner and they were all made very well. Definitely a place to go to get good food, good cocktails and unwind with friends

We’ve been stopping into Redstar for almost a decade and have never been let down. Over the years they’ve increased the range of options that they offer and have managed to not only keep things consistent, but consistently out do themselves.

We recently stopped in for some dinner after drinks and had some of the most incredible queso dip that we’ve encountered.

We also ordered some happy hour tacos and a burrito which we were unable to finish and got to enjoy at home as leftovers

It’s Great spot to meet friends or to bring a date. Make sure to check out the patio at least once. It’s a great spot for summer sips.

Hands-down the absolute BEST tacos I’ve ever tried in my entire lifetime! And the drinks are fabulous too. Absolute perfection in every way & can’t wait to come back again.

Horrible service , terrible long wait gave this place more than one opportunity yet sadly disappointment is the only thing consistent here. The first time I visited, my out of town family had came to visit I saw the reviews and thought sounds great… whe we arrived the greeter rolled their eyes and walked away we waited for 20 mins to see if anyone would help us. No one came and the restaurant was not busy. I decided to revisit and give a second chance a few months later (yesterday) and the same service. This time my co worker and I were seated in the back and forgotten about. We waited for quite some time for a server to follow up after we were seated and no one came. So we just walked out. What was once an an amazing experience has now turned into negligence and horrible customer service with a dash of arrogance. Red star taco is a red flag for me…

Honestly I go because the margaritas are soooo good. BUT, every time I go there is a service problem. Somehow they always mess up my drink order or they totally forget about my drinks and it’s always been a problem. Also forgot my food once. Things like this are very annoying but the drinks are good so I come back. Overall the workers are nice and they did compensate for the missed drinks or long wait.

Great prices for Seattle. I went for happy hour, but even for regular prices, tacos are about $5 each for unique options (looking at you philly cheese taco). The only thing that would have made my taco better is if it was whole pieces of chicken and not shredded, but that’s a personal preference.

This a fun fun spot with good music in the background and a layout that is classic Fremont.

Parking is on the street but that’s normal for around this area. The area was surprisingly cleaner than downtown so it’s a great opportunity to walk around Seattle if you are worried about safety.

I sampled a total of 5-tacos. Loved the shrimp the best! The service was friendly and professional. He was intuitive enough to bring us extra napkins and water before we asked for it. That is saying a ton.

Midas 5-stars for the intuitive service, and delicious tacos!
