I’ve been going to Red Sea for years on and off, I would recommend it, it’s fantastic but the service is subpar and confusing… Every time I go there, they’re confused about my pickup order…. this is going to sound weird but sometimes, some of their food is bland like the lamb chops had zero seasoning very surprising… And there is zero presentation to their food but it does taste good I would probably rate it like a 5.94 out of 10… ‍♀️. It could be better… it’s just okay.

Came here for the first time today, it’s sensational! My friend and I split the veggie platter and the lentil sambusa because I am vegetarian, and it was so delicious and so much food that we took a to go box as well. Mella, the girl who served us, was so kind and attentive! It’s a beautiful restaurant as well with lots of art and very clean. You should go here for sure!

Great food. Pricey, so i got an appetizer. Delicious. If you’ve never had Ethiopian food it may be odd to you just without silverware etc. Just a heads up. Great service and great food. They have pool tables in the back room too, that’s kinda fun.

The service was great, nice people. I think it was the owner who went around the store greeting the guests. My only complaint is that the rice was soggy to me which when you add the stew to it, it makes me more wet. Plus, I wanted it spicy and didn’t get it spicy. Next time I’ll ask to have the stew separated from the rice. The sambusas was delicious though

Like all Ethiopian restaurants you can expect to wait 35-60 minutes for your food. However, you will be completely satisfied once it arrives. This spot was playing Ethiopian music videos on YouTube – something I’ve never experienced at these restaurants so that was a nice treat! Later in our meal they began a nightly coffee and popcorn ceremony where someone roast coffee beans in a small pot over a fire and pops popcorn in the other side. The dining room fills with the wonderful aroma of fresh coffee and we are eager to try it. They come to each table and bring every one a small cup of coffee and a tub of popcorn to share. We ordered sambusas for appetizers and lamb, chicken and veggie platters as entrees. All were superb. Will definitely be back!

Impeccable, cooked to order, fresh food. I have nothing but great things to say about the food and the service. I ordered fish tibsi, in which was delicious. The dishes are made to order, so please ensure that you have time in your schedule to wait for the food to be prepared. I can not wait to go back!

I’ve never eaten Ethiopian food. I ordered the Ye Beg Tebs ($13.99). I was somewhat disappointed because I expected more of a WOW that food is delicious feeling. Instead it was just ok. The building is a little run down looking. Urinal in men’s bathroom was covered with a trash bag saying out of order. 91.5 sanitation grade. I was there at noon on a Friday and was the only customer there. I’m glad I went there but wasn’t impressed enough to return.

This review is overdue. I’d been driving past, wanting to try this place for a while. I used Uber Eats for dinner on Wednesday, 12-21-22. I ordered the fish tibsi (whiting fish), beef sambusa, and cheesecake. They also gave me plenty of injera. The tibsi came with two vegetables. The sambusa were full of meat. I had plenty of food leftover for the next day.

It was a good dinner after a long work day. The next time I have the taste for Ethiopian food, I’d definitely order again or visit.
