Atmosphere very clean and inviting. It’s an open area have to emphasize very clean. The food delicious with no skimming on the meat. My wife had the menudo made to her bud taste. We shared the street tacos and filled with lots of meat along with flavor. I had the quesabirria, it was alright had better consome elsewhere. However again lots of meat with the right portion of cheese. Now the service not bad but nothing to brag about.

This was the WORST FOOD I’ve had in a long time. I had to write this honest review. I stopped here for lunch. I got a Quesabirria and chips and Queso. The total was $25 which was a bit pricy but I’m okay with paying if the food is good. I got to my desk and literally had to throw it all away. It was HORRIBLE!!! The only thing okay was the Queso. The chips were old and stale. The tacos were old and had a spoiled taste. -10 out of 10. They need to be reported. The service was a 4 out of 10. The lady wasn’t friendly but wasn’t entirely rude either. She wasn’t welcoming but again I’m okay as long as the food is good but it was gross. I suggest not wasting your money.

Red Salsa is a great taco shop. Their burrito is huge and satisfying. They have great tacos too. For a quick meal I highly recommend this little shop. They have amazing green sauce! I’d say the best I’ve ever had. I can’t stop pouring it on my food as I eat

Ordered potato, cheese and bacon tacos. Taco was full of partially cooked potato and cold cheese and a tiny bit of bacon.
Ordered chorizo egg bean and cheese taco. Chorizo seems undercooked and cold cheese.
Brought the taco up to the lady and asked her if it was fully cooked. She said yeah, just the cheese and beans makes it look like that. I said okay and left haha. Y’all judge from the photos.
Cold, not toasted tortillas is the icing on the cake. $20 as well. Never ever again.

It’s a small cafe with what it looks to be a steady stream of regulars. It’s not your typical Tex-Mex restaurant, so you won’t find cheese covering everything or chips and salsa to fill you up prior to your meal coming out. The staff is friendly. The restaurant is clean and has a nice touch of personality.
I had the house special conquistador as well as the al pastor taco. At first, I was underwhelmed with the quantity of food, but the amount of protein is more than enough for you to leave full if not stuffed.
The beef fajita was a bit dry if not chewy at times but not terrible. I did find the flavor lacking compared to other restaurants in the area, but it isn’t going to cause you to storm out the door. With a little polish, it could stand against the competition.
The rice was ever so slightly underdone. If was a little less salty, I would have finished it. Besides the salt, it was a good side to compliment the protein.
I do love the way the hotdogs were cooked. I just never seen them cooked that way. It definitely stood out on the plate. I can’t really tell the difference between hotdogs, so I can’t really compare it to the best hotdogs known to man. However, it did stand out since I never had hotdogs as part of a Tex-Mex dish before.
The charro beans looked great. There were a lot of ingredients in that dish. The dish was a bit bland compared to the number of items that went into it. It didn’t stop me from finishing it though.
The al pastor taco is definitely smaller than expected, but the taste was great. You definitely tasted a hint of pineapple. The flavors did well together. You definitely do not just want to order one taco though. You may leave hungry if so.
Overall, it’s not a bad place. Definitely some room for improvement, but not a bad first experience.

Very enjoyable!
First time here. Nice storefront, pleasant interior. Nice people. Great selection. I only had a breakfast taco with cheese, but it was stuffed and delicious. And hot off the grill.

Fantastic Tacos!!! I have been looking for somewhere in the Houston area that could give me Carne Asada Tacos like I got when I was living in San Antonio…. and this is the spot!!! Delicious home made flour tortillas, tender flavorful seasoned steak, fresh onions and cilantro… I cant say enough good things. I also had the Al Pastor, every bit as good as I expected. Friendly staff, very clean and well put together restaurant, they even have a small refrigerated sauce storage unit out in the dinning area so you can get whatever fresh sauce you want…Brilliant!!! I will definitely be back and strongly recommend.
